Dinan Engineering gives the BMW 550i a power hike
Dinan Engineering decided to develop a tuning kit for the BMW 550i, the German model receiving both styling and performance tweaks.
At the exterior, you will get new side skirts, revised door mirrors and new front and rear spoilers. Power is provided by a tuned 4.4-liter V8 unit producing 542 horses and 795Nm of torque, a quite significant boost from the stock 400hp and 609Nm of torque.

In order to squeeze the extra power, Dinan Engineering opted for a revised ECU unit, a carbon fiber high-flow intake, revised turbochargers and a sports exhaust.

The company released no 0-100 km/h sprint figures but says that top speed exceeds now 322 km/h. A high-performance Brembo braking system is offered as an option alongside a limited-slip differential and a retuned suspension.

For now, there are no pricing details but the tuner says that their kit comes with a four-year warranty.
