BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe spied
I have to say, I am disappointed with BMW right now. In a world where everybody is looking forward to the F80 BMW M3 or the F82 BMW M4 the Bavarians are working on this.
It’s called the BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe. We don’t know that for sure but given the company’s effort with branding these days.

As you probably anticipated, the BMW 4 Series GC is supposed to be coupe sculpted body on a four door version of the compact sedan we normally call the 3 Series.
In terms of changes between this and the rather fresh F30 BMW 3 Series we would’t expect to see much in terms of newly developed underpinnings.
Expect to see the same platform, expect the same lineup of engines to go under the bonnet and expect the same transmission and RWD setup to rock-up.

We do expect the interior to be a little bit different as it goes up a class or so. After all, the inevitably higher price tag will attract a more demanding crowd.
The same can be said for the exterior, it’s bound to look a little bit better at the front end and quite a bit better around the profile and the back end.
It’s ultimately a mid-range solution between practicality and cool looks that’s combined with the F30’s lovability that will end up costing more.

Obviously there’s a market for such cars but what we’re more concerned with is the engineering time that goes into this time rather than the new version of the M3 and the M4.
