BMW 2 Series Active Tourer Gets First Drive in Austria
The BMWBLOG online publication had the chance of driving the BMW 2-Series Active Tourer in a premiere, in Austria, the model being the company`s first front-wheel drive model.
At a first impression, the BMW 2-Series Active Tourer does not look as appealing as the BMW`s lovers are used with, since we remark a lack of personality in terms of design, especially at the kidney radiator grille and at the rear, where the model was supposed to come with fresh elements.

Inside the cabin of the BMW 2-Series Active Tourer, things are staying great in terms of quality materials, as the interior is tweaked with a lot of leather on the seats and at the lower part of the dashboard.

In terms of comfort, the new 2-Series Active Tourer also stands great, as the space can now be wider, due to the rear seats that can be manually folded just by using a handle, while you can also use dedicated buttons to electrically fold them.

Under the hood, the BMW 2-Series Active Tourer is powered by a choice of four-cylinder engines, while the folks from BMWBLOG had the chance of driving a 218d with 2.0-liter diesel and 150 HP, as well as a 225i model, with a higher 2.0-liter, developing 231 horsepower.

Just what I need. The space looks perfect and the dash is NICE!
@RJ – Yes, it looks wonderful. The car is good for a family, it is spacious and modern.
