The BMW carmaker has officially launched the prices for the i8 hybrid car in the United States, the model coming available from the base $135,700.
If you live in the US, you can now head to your local BMW dealerships and make a deposit for the long-expected BMW i8 hybrid car, of course if you have got the right price for that.
We should mention that there is also a $950 price to be paid, as a destination and handling fee.
For this kind of money, the BMW i8 hybrid car will be coming in three packages, for additional charges, namely the Giga World for an extra $2,000, the Tera World set at $3,000 as well as the Pure Impulse World coming from a huge $10,800.
The packages include some interesting features, like LED lights, the 20-inch W spoke or the 20-inch turbine wheels, while inside, the hybrid model will tweak perforated leather amongst other.
Under the hood, the BMW i8 comes with a hybrid synchronous motor, rated at 131 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque, being backed by a range extender 1.5-liter l3 unit, developing an additional 228 HP and 320 Nm of torque.
