BMW MZ8 envisioned by Christophe Jourd’hui
It’s always nice to see how designers imagine a future model based on the current design philosophy of a carmaker.
Today, Christophe Jourd’hui released a bunch of renderings showing the BMW MZ8, a prototype based on the BMW 8 Series and Z8 models. Of course, the designer opted for a futuristic approach with aggressive and sharp lines.

In the front, the BMW MZ8 benefits from double-kidney grille, the “shark nose” and aggressive optical blocks.

As expected, all these features were taken to extreme, as well as the new set of wheels which are certainly over 20 inches in size. On the side, we observe a really fluid shape with no interruptions, a design cue which improves the sportiness of the concept.

The BMW MZ8 also makes use of a removable hardtop while the rear stands out thanks to a large rear diffuser, a rear wing, very thin taillights and a two-pipe exhaust system shaped in a quite unique form.
