BMW 540i xDrive Touring M Performance Gets Ready for Geneva Motor Show
BMW carmaker has recently released the official details of the all-new BMW 5-Series Touring just ahead the 2017 Geneva Motor Show which opens its gates tomorrow. It involves the 540i xDrive variant which is fully tweaked with the M kit.
The model looks extremely aggressive and muscular at the same time, with the exterior being highlighted by the plethora of carbon fiber components all around.
The M Performance kit comprises elements like carbon fiber front bumper add-ons, rear diffuser with lower section from polyurethane, side sill attachments, carbon fiber side mirror caps, black kidney grille, M Performance bars on the brake air channels, accent strips and a few more. The Performance logos are also visible on the car`s body.
The overall M aero package is complemented with the 20-inch lightweight alloys coming in Orbit Grey, and wrapped in 245/35 R20 and 275/30 R20 front and rear tires. You can also have it with a choice of bespoke braking system.
Inside, the cabin is also tweaked with Alcantara M Performance steering wheel, eight-speed automatic transmission with shift paddles and so on. The powertrain of the 540i xDrive Touring refers to a 3.0-liter straight-six turbocharged engine which can be upgraded to deliver an extra of 34 horsepower and 50 Nm of torque. That means a total of 360 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque.
