Rolls-Royce Spring/Summer 2017 Collection Breaks Cover
While most of the high-end carmakers prepare themselves for the extremely cold winter ahead, the British based luxury auto maker Rolls Royce has recently revealed a special model collection which is set to arrive on the market starting next spring.
We are looking here at the Rolls-Royce Spring/Summer 2017 Collection, which involves three Dawn models tweaked with special exterior colours and standout features inside the cabin.
At the exterior, all models seen in the media gallery below come with a range of “Bespoke” features, highlighted by exquisite colours like Mugello Red, Cobalto Blue and Mandarin on the canvas roof. Inside, the cabins complement the exterior with the White and Black colour scheme.
The cars main highlight remains the plethora of high-end materials found in the cabin, which has been specially recreated by designers within the Royal College, such as textile specialists Cherica Haye or leather technologist Michelle Lusby.
Speaking about luxury at its highest level, Giles Taylor, Director of Design for Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, better explains the cars exquisite interior:
“Our clients are the very arbiters of fashion, tastemakers who sit in the front row of the Couture shows, themselves influencing evolving trends. To them, the commissioning of fine luxury objects represents a deeply-involving curatorial process – with different forms of luxury design, craft and execution serving as inspiration for the other. ‘Dawn – Inspired by Fashion’ beautifully expresses the notion that inspiration for truly personal objects is drawn from the passions, tastes and lifestyle of its patron.”
Therefore, the cabin comes with high-end stitiching and piping, intricate embroidery on the seats, two-tone leather cover and contrast stitching on the steering wheel, Piano White with aluminum particles covering the dashboard, Bespoke clock, and much more.
In the engine department, there weren`t any mods carried out, the Roll-Royce Spring/Summer 2017 Collection coming with the same engine found on the Wraith as well, meaning a 6.6-liter twin-turbocharged V12 unit, developing an impressive 624 horsepower, allowing a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds, at a topping of 250 km/h.
