Would You Pay $2.2 Million on a Pininfarina`s Rolls-Royce Hyperion?
The Italian-based Pininfarina car design firm and coachbuilder sourced in Cambiano has been customizing exquisite and luxurious models for more than 50 years, with strong partnerships with different important carmakers like BMW or Rolls-Royce.
Speaking of Rolls-Royce, Pininfarina also built perhaps one of the most luxurious models on the market today, the Rolls-Royce Hyperion, unveiled at the Pebble Beach Concourse d`Elegance, back in 2008. Back then, the luxury car was appraised at no less than whopping $6 million.
Now the model is available for sale for a “mere” $2 million. For that price you get a lot of custom carbon fiber body parts, especially inside, where the cabin is fitted with a compartment for hunting rifles.
More than that, the doors are made of high-quality wood, while the rear seats have been removed for additional legroom for the front passengers. Let`s not forget the Girard-Perregaux watch on the dashboard, which can also be worn at your wrist as well.
Under the hood, the Rolls-Royce Hyperion packs a massive 6.7-liter naturally aspirated V12 mill, with 460 horsepower and 720 Nm of torque, hooked to a six-speed automatic transmission.
