When Eastern European countries were fighting for their freedom and eventually stood up against the communism block back in 1989, BMW in Germany created one of the most iconic and legendary models ever built, the E30 BMW M3 Johnny Cecotto.

Even so, a rare 1989 model is now available for sale at Silverstone Auctions, Coventry, United Kingdom from the starting price of just £35,000. Too little I presume for its incommensurable value.

The 1989 E30 BMW M3 is looking out of the box, but had to undergo a slight body style makeover a couple of years ago. The wheels were also refurbished in April, last year.

First registered in 1991, the model had three owners and comes with 119,000 km on board. From the record, it was really taken care of.

Out of 500 units ever built worldwide, this rare E30 M3 is wearing number 276 on the chassis, the model coming with an exquisite Misano Red body wrap, while inside, the cabin looks astonishing with the Anthracite M-Technic cloth, contrasting Bison Black leather, air conditioning, electric windows and a few more.

Most importantly, if you decide to buy this rare piece of German engineering, you should know that you will also get the 17 MoT certificates, which contains the car`s entire history.
