2016 BMW 7-Series Pops-Up in Leaked Image

The long-expected 2016 BMW 7-Series has been long rumored, caught on spy shots and recently seen on a teaser image, the carmaker didn’t reveal much of it, but courtesy to BimmerToday.de, a recent leaked photo is showing the car`s side, all wrapped in an exquisite chrome exterior finish, which clearly indicates that we are talking about the topping Luxury Line version.

Unfortunately, there isn’t much to reveal about the latest luxurious model from BMW, but judging by the latest innovation in technology and the new performance under the hood, we might imagine ourselves a splashing body language, which would make use of the lightweight materials and thus, improved powertrain.

But one of the model`s first attraction will be inside the cabin, where the 7-Series will abound with technology, starting with the new-generation of the car`s iDrive operating system, fitted with the Touch Display, which gives you the possibility to activate the car`s system by simply touching the screen. Apart from that, the iDrive system also lets you use the BMW gesture control by which your “hand movements are detected by a 3D sensor control infotainment functions in an extremely intuitive and user-friendly fashion.” Thus, you can control or adjust the volume control of different apps, accept or reject phone calls, or “pairing a specific gesture with an individual choice of function.”

The 2016 BMW 7-Series is also standing high above its competitors with the wide array of safety features, like the Lane Departure Warning Assistant, the Driving Assistant Plus, as well as the Driving Assistant system, while the Remote Control Parking lets you park the car in the garage or in parking spaces, without you being behind the wheel.

Under the hood, the 2016 BMW 7-Series will be powered by an engine lineup, supposedly coming with six-cylinder V8 and V12, as well as a diesel inline-six engine lineup.
