BMW M340i Caught in Spain

The German based premium carmaker is apparently working on a new 3-Series model, the M340i, as the model in question was caught on some shots during a cruise in Spain.

The spy shots were provided by the guys from Motor.es and are showing us some design cues resembling the 335i model, but coming with no rear bumper, which is a clear indication that the test mule is still in the works.

Rumors have it that the upcoming BMW 340i model will also come with a lot of power under the hood, meaning that it will be equipped with the new B58B30MO six-cylinder unit, developing around 365 horsepower.

Other rumors state that the model wouldn`t be coming any soon now, being reported to be launched at least in around four years, and will aim to battle the future generation of the Mercedes-AMG Sport line, or the Mercedes-Benz C450 AMG, which have already been officially unveiled at the 2015 Detroit Auto Show.
