
BMW 5-Series 518d and 520d Coming with Engine Upgrades
The BMW German based automaker has announced some significant upgrades in terms of performance for the 5-Series 518d and 520d versions.
First off, the BMW 518d has received the fresh 2.0-liter TwinPower Turbo diesel, now developing 150 horsepower and 360 Nm of torque, which is 6 horsepower more than the previous model.

The BMW 520d is also upgraded, as the same 2.0-liter TwinPower Turbo diesel is also installed under the hood, with the unit to develop a higher 190 horsepower and a peak of torque of 400 Nm of torque.

We are talking here about the same 6 horsepower more than the previous 520d version, as the peak of torque is also higher with 20 Nm.

Due to the additional power and torque, the BMW German based automaker state that both the Sedan as well as the Touring can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.6 seconds, which is also 0.2 faster than their predecessors.
