BMW i3M Rendered Online
The BMW i3 electric is ending up in our news again, this time through a rendering launched online by the CarThrottle, showcasing the model in an M version.
We are talking thus about the BMW i3M version, which is of course based on the present i3 model, but highlighted here with a lowered chassis.

Apart from the lowered chassis, the artist has also added the 19-inch alloy wheels to the BMW i3 M, wheels which are actually taken from the F80/F82 M3 and M4 high-end models.
The body is visible changed, as the model is now bearing the M treatment with large intakes, sprouted gills at the front wings and a quad-exit exhaust system at the rear end.
Unfortunately, chances are that the BMW i3 will not get the M treatment, at least not in the near future, along with the i8 model as well, not announced to bear the M upgrade as well.
And that because both the i3 and the i8 models have not been built for high-performance, but rather for improve driving dynamics and efficiency along the road.
