Even car thieves prefer the BMW X5
Whenever I hear about a “British study”, I immediately think it’s just a fancy way of lying to the public. I mean, some days I think this is all the the British do.
Still, a British study discovered which vehicle is most preferred by thieves in the UK, and BMW hold the number one.

The lucky model from the German car maker is the BMW X5, and it seems that the manufacturer holds other places in the top 10 as well. Thus, the third place is the BMW M3, while the M5 and X6 take seventh place. The other position in the top are also held by premium vehicles like the Range Rover or Audi RS4.
Also, if you check the company that did this study, you will find that it is Tracker, a company that sells tracking devices. Now I’m not calling them liars and the study an attempt at grabbing some customers, but all clues seem to indicate that. I mean, I know plenty of thieves would like to grab a Bimmer or two, but they are not that easy to steal.
