MotoGP safety car – BMW M4 – debuts in Qatar

BMW is proud to have set a legacy as the provider of safety cars for MotoGP, with 2014 marking the 16th season they have this privilege.

Back when this the new safety car was announced we got a chance to gander at the BMW M4 in a few photos, and it was marvelous.

Now, with its official live debut at the Qatar Grand Prix, the BMW M4 is out there, and it does good on building on the work of its predecessors. The German car maker draped the car in their traditional M stripes and added a full body work from M Performance Parts.

While not the only safety car out there, as it is accompanied by a M5 and two M550d xDrive Touring, the BMW M4 certainly makes the best impression. After all, of the new generation of models, this has to be the most anticipated M variant. It certainly has a lot to prove, and its baptism at Qatar is a good start.
