US receives the BMW X1

Being available on European markets since 2009, the BMW X1 finally arrives to the US. And it has been aesthetically revised to please the judging eyes of the americans.

Of the three versions available to the US public, two are exclusive. The three models are the BMW X1 sDrive28i, the X1 xDrive28i and the X1 xDrive35i with the sDrive28i and the xDrive35i being sold only in America.

All versions use turbocharging and direct injection and come standard with an automatic gear box. This is USA, after all. The sDrive28i and the xDrive28i use a 4 cylinder 240hp engine and will have rear wheel and all wheel drive, respectively.

The more powerful X1 xDrive35i will get you 300hp from the 6 cylinder engine, power which goes to all wheels. It will take 5.3 seconds to reach 92km/h and will do 13.5 liters per 100km.

The BMW X1 will be a coveted car, no matter what version you will choose, and if you want to get one for yourself, be prepared to spend from 31.545 to 39.345 dollars.
