BMW i3 Concept Coupe hits the road

BMW reveals a presentation video for the BMW i3 Coupe Concept, a prototype based on the five-door version which is scheduled to hit the market later tihs year.
The new BMW i3 is the first model within the i range to be available in production form. BMW’s new i range consists of electric vehicles, another model in this lineup being the BMW i8 supercar.
Back to the subject, we do know that this three-door i3 Concept will be offered in production form in the coming years.
The German carmaker plans to produce several other variants of the BMW i3. Under the hood sits an electric motor capable to deliver 168 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque to the rear axle.
“The BMW i3 Concept Coupé shows the ongoing development process for getting the first ever all-electric model from the BMW i brand ready for series production,” adds the Bavarian company.
More information on the upcoming models within the i lineup will be released this year.
