BMW pulls the wraps off new M3 DTM Champion Edition
BMW presents today a special variant of the current M3 Coupe, namely the DTM Champion Edition.
The new model celebrates Bruno Spengler’s victory in the 2012 season of the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters competition and has been unveiled at the same private event in Nurburgring alongside the new BMW M6 GranCoupe.

At the exterior, the new limited edition gets a special matte black finish called Frozen Black and a ZCP Competition Package. The latter brings a new front splitter, black air inlets and a rear spoiler made of carbon fiber but also larger alloy wheels.

The German car maker released no official pricing information on the new BMW M3 DTM Champion Edition but informed us that there will be only 54 units.

This number represents the total races won by BMW in this competition. There are also few details on vehicle’s production which is expected to begin later this year. First units will be delivered to the customers starting February 2013.
