BMW 7-Series M7 Is Out of the Question
There have been some rumors speculating that BMW might offer a 7-Series M7 top of the line version of the 2016 BMW 7-Series, but all these ideas were gainsaid by what Inautonews.com.
The guys from Inautonews online auto publication found out from their source that the carmaker is not planning the introduction of the M7, according to which the model would take on the AMG S-Class. At least we will not be talking about an M version, the carmaker reportedly preparing another model to compete against the S-Class.

More than that, BMW representatives themselves have officially declared that they will not build an M7 top of the range version of the upcoming 7-Series.

Initially, the BMW M7 was rumored to come with some body features, also seen on the M5 / M6 Gran Coupe, meaning rather the same exhaust system, revised side skirts and rear diffuser and a few more. In terms of power, the M7 was also said to fit a 4.4-liter twin turbo V8 unit under the hood, developing a higher 600 horsepower and 680 Nm of torque, than the one found on the same M5 / M6 Gran Coupe.

On the other hand, the 2016 BMW 7-Series is expected to be officially unveiled at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, coming with the latest technology and performance under the hood, making use at the same time of lightweight materials at the body.
