2017 BMW i3 Launched with Higher Battery Pack and Extra Features

The German based BMW carmaker has recently released the details with the all-new 2017 BMW i3 in the United States, where the model will become available from $44,595 in the entry-level version. The i3 REx (range extender) can be also had at $48,445.

Besides the affordable prices, the 2017 BMW i3 is now coming with more features as standard.

First, you can choose between the plethora of exterior colors, like Dark Oak Wood Trim, Moonroof and Protonic Blue, which will join the Capparis White, Fluid Black non-metallic and Ionic Silver, Platinum Silver and Mineral Gray metallic.

Next, the carmaker has improved the battery of the all-electric vehicle, replacing the previous 22 kW battery with a higher and much more powerful 33 kW battery pack. This means that the mile range has been also increased from 81 miles to 114 miles. In case you want an increased range, then you can also choose the i3 REx, which will provide an extra 93 miles.

Apart the increased battery and wider color palette, the 2017 BMW i3 all-electric also comes with other features as standard, such as the 19-inch alloy wheels, Comfort Access, Deka World Interior Design Loft, Universal Garage Door Opener, Advanced Real Time Traffic Info and more.

The 2017 BMW i3 is already being offered for sale in dealerships across the United States.
