US: BMW M4 GTS Will Be Equipped with M Carbon Compound Wheels

The newly introduced BMW M4 GTS is making the headlines again, according to which the model will receive the M Carbon Compound Wheels in the United States.

The news come from bmwblog.com which states that the high-performance M4 GTS will not come only with the latest technology in terms of body styling and performance, but it will also fit the high-performance M Carbon Compound wheels.

The wheels are sized 9.5J x 19 and 10.5J x 20 front and rear respectively, and are specifically designed for the tracks. This means that the new wheels are built from carbon fiber reinforced plastic and aluminum, meaning that it will be extremely light and will permit a smoother steering and handling on the tracks, and will help the car perform a better acceleration and deceleration.

The M Carbon Compound wheels will also be wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 rubbers, measuring 265/35 ZR 19 and 285/30/ ZR20 front and rear.

In the United States, the BMW M4 GTS will be available in 300 units, which is half the production planned worldwide, with around 150 already to be sold out. On the US market, the BMW M4 GTS comes with a spicy price of $134,200, without adding the $995 destination and handling fee.
