BMW 5-Series – Professional and Exclusive Packs Available in Australia

BMW Australia has recently announced that the 5-Series will gain an extra value on the local market, due to the introduction of two packages, each one coming with its own features and costs.

First, the Professional package is available for the 520i and the 520d sedan, adding a value of $12,700 and $3,400 for the touring versions. The options available are the head-up display, driving assistant, digital radio, ConnectedDrive Freedom, lane change warning and a few more.

In the 520d Gran Turismo, the Professional package adds a value of $2,400, while in the topper 528i sedan, it comes with an extra value of $5,900, additionally coming with driving assist plus, seat heaters, multi-function instrument display.

Second, the Exclusive package is available on the 535i, 535d sedans or the ActiveHybrid 5, with an extra value of $3,800. This means that more important features can be had on your 5-Series version, such as automatic boot, rear/side window sunblinds, comfort seats with active head restrained system which is electrically adjusted, nappa leather, seat heating and more.

In the 530d Gran Turismo as well as the 535i Touring the package adds the individual leather instrument panel, ConnectedDrive Freedom, comfort seats, lane changing warning, adding a $15,900 and $13,500 extra value. The 535i Gran Turismo comes with the same feature, for a claimed extra value of $12,000.
