2016 MINI Cooper S Cabrio Spy Shot Revealed
It has been a while since we last heard about a MINI model popping up on the web. But thanks to World Car of Fans online publication, some spy shots with the upcoming 2016 MINI Cooper S Cabrio have been just revelead.
The spy shots are showing a test mule with the 2016 MINI Cooper S Cabrio wearing a slight camouflage at the rear end and the hood, which means that the model will receive some minor changes, before its final debut, at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, this September.
As seen in the shots, the 2016 MINI Cooper S Cabrio was spied at Nurburgring, the hot version coming with the top roof down, while the rear end is likely to receive some body updates, just like the ones seen on the hard top sibling.
Under the hood, the 2016 MINI Cooper S Cabrio is rumored to come with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged petrol burner, developing a good 189 horsepower and 280 Nm of torque, enough to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in a promising 6.8 seconds, via a six-speed manual transmission, at a topping of 235 km/h. More details with the cabin will be revealed in Frankfurt. Meanwhile, enjoy our latest news on BMW and MINI hot models!
