2015 BMW X6 leaks prior official unveil
A batch of official photos of the upcoming BMW X6 have leaked today. The images show the second-generation of the German SAC, a model which is now aligned to the company’s design philosophy seen on its smaller brothers like the X4 and X5.
Compared to the aforementioned models, the all-new BMW X6 stands out thanks to its increased dimensions while the tweaked bumpers, front grille, hood and optical blocks are also an welcome addition.
The comprehensive photo gallery shows us front, side and rear views but also some interior shots.
Inside, buyers will get high quality materials like leather and Alcantara, an improved dashboard, new trim and very likely updated safety systems.
Under the hood, expect to see largely the same engine range as the new BMW X5. We talk about a 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo producing 306 horsepower, a more potent 4.4-liter V8 with 450hp but also frugal diesels.
Speaking of fuel economy, the 3.0-liter tri-turbo units offering 258hp and 381hp should be a smart choice. We didn’t forget the BMW X6 M which should sport a 4.4-liter producing over 555 horses. However, this model will be added to the range later.
