New BMW M4 Coupe DTM Safety Car just Unleashed
The BMW German based luxury automaker has just unleashed its newest M4 Coupe DTM safety car, which is pretty much based on the road model, but still coming with some interesting tweaks.
The tweaks include the famous BMW M Performance Parts including the front splitter, the rear diffuser, the rear spoiler and the mirror caps, all being made out of carbon fiber.

The BMW M4 Coupe DTM Safety also features other important characteristics like aerodynamic side skirts, titanium exhaust system, a black grille, or the KW coil-over suspension system, not to mention the DTM livery.

Jens Marquardt, the director at BMW Motorsport stated in a report that the M4 DTM sports car, besides the fact that it is supposed to be a safe car, it is also very sporty.

“The BMW M4 Coupé certainly provided us with the basis to achieve this,” Marquardt also said.
Under the hood, the BMW M4 DTM safety car comes with the standard 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo six-cylinder engine, developing a great 431 horsepower and 550 Nm of torque. The unit is hooked to an M double clutch transmission.
Inside, the M4 DTM comes with the Schroth harnesses, the Recaro racing seats, the race communication system, with the roll cage replacing the rear seats.
