BMW X5 eDrive concept will see the green light
Today we get some great news from the Bavarians at BMW as they officially confirmed that the X5 eDrive concept will enter the series production.
The BMW X5 eDrive concept was seen for the first time earlier this month at the Frankfurt Motor Show.

The plug-in hybrid version of the BMW X5 comes with a TwinPower Turbo unit alongside an electric motor making the 0-100 km/h sprint possible in less than 7 seconds. Fuel economy figures are rated at 61,8mpg or 3,8 liters/100km with CO2 emissions of 90 g/km.

In terms of styling, the BMW X5 eDrive Concept is pretty production-ready with just few elements telling you that you are facing an eco-friendly model.

According to Peter Wolf from BMW, the concept will surely enter production but there is no official release date. In this situation, we expect to see the model on the streets later next year or in 2015.
