BMW 5 Series
The BMW 5 Series is the second most successful and selling model after the BMW 3 Series, it is an executive model produced since 1972 and is offered in two-variants: sedan and touring.
Before the appearance of the BMW 5 Series in 1972, BMW manufactured the BMW 1500 that was called The New Class appeared in 1961 and has great performances of that time.
The BMW 5 Series has the following codenames: E12, E28, E34, E39, E60/E61, F10/F11
The first BMW 5 Series model was the E12 manufactured since 1972, the second is the E28 produced since 1982 and after the E28, BMW produced the BMW E34 (1988) and followed by the E39 in 1995. The production of the BMW 5 Series E39 ended in 2003 when the new BMW 5 Series entered in production, namely BMW E60 (2003-2010).
As we all know, the BMW 5 Series combines the comfort with the sport features and is a luxury mid-sized car that rivals with the Mercedes E-Class and the Audi A6.
The latest BMW 5 Series codenamed F10 appeared in 2010 and continues the BMW’s success and tradition around the world.
