With the BMW German luxury car manufacturer being on a constant growth, the company is aiming to sell around 2 million vehicles in 2014, planning to ship the vehicles to the United States and China.

Norbert Reithofer, the CEO at the BMW Group stated in some reports at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show that for the first two months of this semester, the automaker has managed to reach a sales` growth of about 7% with the luxury Rolls-Royce and the Mini, and around 9% with the its own brands.

Reithofer also mentioned that in order to successfully handle with the demands up ahead, the German automaker will expand the two already existing plants in China and in the US.

The extended plants are meant to make room for the already going on sale the 4-Series line-up (Coupe, Cabrio, Gran Coupe), the famous M3/M4 and the BMW`s first all-wheel drive, the 2-Series Active Tourer.

Last year, the BMW manufacturer sold an overall 1.96 million units – with 1.66 million units of its own brands – and now the company is aiming for a further growth, to make sure that its rival Audi and Mercedes-Benz are left behind for good.

The new 2014 BMW M3 was leaked on the internet in an official image previewed in the Car Magazine.

The editors from Car Magazine announce that this is the last online appearance of the new BMW M3 before its official introduction at the Geneva Motor Show in March this year.

2014 BMW M3 will begin production in mid-2013 and will be one of the most powerful sedan cars ever produced. You can see its aggressive and sexy design drawn by the BMW’s Design Department.

It is the fifth generation BMW M3 codenamed F80, this is the codename for the M3 Sedan and the Coupe will bear the code F82 (F82 BMW M4).

2014 F80 BMW M3 will have a 6-cylinder engine that will produce around 450 horsepower and it seems that it will not have a rival yet.

I hate going along the same route but I would have really loved to see a manufacturer mess up and mess up big at an official event.

Unfortunately, the Bavarians are not the ones to provide such an unusual satisfaction. They’ve kept their promise regarding the E89 BMW Z4 facelift they recently announced.

With the 2013 Detroit Motor Show having just opened up its doors, the Germans were ready with the official unveiling of the new Z4.

Alongside it, the rest of the models they promised to have in store for NAIAS were readily available. They really won’t give me any sort of hope.

While we did have a bit of a look at the car earlier on and the changes aren’t that revolutionary, there’s the Hyper Orange Package we need to talk about.

That’s an exclusive metallic orange paintjob which was hinted at in the press releases but it’s also something that really looks striking.

Under a bunch of flood lights, the reflective nature of this new paint shade really, really puts one retinas at strain.

It’s not something a BMW should do, not even one with a controversial design but since the Z4 is doing rather poorly in sales, a few unusual efforts might be what it needs.

Before receiving a smaller brother or a major overhaul that brings the sporty side, the Z4 will have to keep on being on sale in its current form.

I actually reckon the GT side really suits the E89 BMW Z4 and the sporty feeling in it is quite well kept in these conditions.

Feeling like the F25 BMW X3 is starting to show its age? I don’t and there’s a lot of people out there that agree with me.

BMW is still going to give it a mid-life facelift and it should be ready sometime next year with a release as a 2014 model year.

This facelift was spied out in the preliminary tests and it is wearing camouflage but not too much of it. There’s no point in covering up the entire thing, is there?

You’d be silly to expect any structural changes to happen and you probably don’t like the idea of a facelift at all anyway.

Those who do understand the point will appreciate the fact that facelifts are necessary and that it’s pointless to spend too much money on these mid-life refreshed products.

We will get to see a new set of bumpers, a revised set of wheels, new headlamps as well as a few updates to the interior and engine lineup.

Since the X3 was one of the first cars to come with the N20 engine, this won’t be a newly introduced bit under its bonnet.

Some mild ECU tune-ups are likely to come up into discussion, some trim updates and new gadgets or revised BMW iDrive is what we should look forward to.

Speaking of which, the techno freaks are likely to be thrilled at the idea of this car being among the first of the BMW range to get the new iPhone socket.

Doing away with an adapter and minor compatibility issues isn’t good enough reason for buying a brand new BMW X3 but the car itself is. Think it over before the new model comes out.

Having taken over and dominated most of the automotive market, BMW has set its sights now on the two-wheeled aspect of the selling place.

Somehow the powerful motorbike aspect of the equation is not what they’re going for. It’s the scooter that’s in their crosshairs.

Thinking about it, it makes perfect sense. The city mobility is where things seem to be focused right now and the smaller cars get the more hopeless they are.

Scooters on the other hand have always been small and the ability to squeeze between cars is where the real gain is. Unfortunately they have plenty of faults of their own.

BMW is about to change some of them as their C1 Scooter from a long way back is coming back. This time it goes electric though.

That’s great, it’s a lot greener than the usual oil burning engines you see around town. Where scooters really fall down is in the safety aspect.

Guess who’s also thought of that, and plan to make some considerable changes to what we normally perceive as scooters?

Bavaria’s finest built a roof frame into their C1 quite some time ago and they plan to and they want to bring the idea back.

This time however, there’s an actual seat involved an there’s even going to be a seat belt involved for added safety.

In these conditions the upcoming BMW scooters are said to be so safe that they don’t require the wearing of a helmet.

The police may not be thrilled about the idea but it seems a lot better than riding a death trap. Expect to see the new scooters from BMW on the market sometime in 2014.

When BMW introduced us to the idea of M Performance we thought the Bavarians were once again expanding their lineup of exciting models.

We were wrong. Kind of. There have been some new models added to the list and some more will follow but that’s not the entire story.

Some of BMW’s existing models will actually be replaced by M Performance products. Eventually it’s going to be the is models that get this treatment.

It does make a bit of sense. After all, the is models were always near the top of the range and at some point branding got a little complicated.

M550xd doesn’t sound like something very easy to pronounce but it’s considerably better than the Z4 sDrive35is, right?

Speaking of which, the BMW Z4 M Performance model might just be a simple makeover of the sDrive35is rather than a newly spec’d version of the roadster.

All of this M Performance swapping over the is branding should happen sometime next year for the United States and shortly after it should come back to Europe.

That seems like a weird way to do it round but then again it’s not exactly the biggest worry one could have. After all, it’s the new M Performance models we’re concerned with rather than the branding bit.

It seems that the first models to set the pace with these changes will be the 3.0 liter versions of the 3 Series and the soon to be introduced 4 Series.

They’ll be called the M335i and M435i and, sometime throughout of 2014 we’re going to see the 1 Series and Z4 makeover with the rest of the model updates coming in according to the regular release schedule.

As more and more spies manage to snap shots of the 2014 F30 BMW M3 Sedan, its story starts unraveling and still the Bavarians aren’t ready to confirm anything.

While BMW are keeping their cards close to their chest, the rumor makers are working overtime and creating all sorts of more or less feasible stories.

In an attempt not to give them too much of our belief, let’s just focus on what the F30 BMW M3 Sedan will most likely feature.

The look isn’t expected to be any revolution in terms of comparison to the normal F30 sedan and the interior will likely not see that much of a difference either.

Where things are going to change is under the bonnet, in the chassis and suspension setup and, apparently, in the construction process.

The engine is expected to be a 3.3 liter V6 with two or three turbochargers and a predicted output of around 450 horsepower. Essentially it will be the 4.4 liter V8 of the bigger brothers with two missing cylinders and some internal changes that make it work properly.

This setup was chosen to cut some of the costs of developing an entirely new engine while still focusing on performance and efficiency.

Also aiming to help these two fronts, we’re told that the 2014 F30 BMW M3 Sedan will use more carbon fiber in its construction. That would be interesting and it’s something that was reserved for the coupe.

Some voices are even saying that the F30 BMW M3 Sedan could receive carbon brake disks as standard but that sounds like a rather expensive choice.

According to sources quoted by with egmCarTech, BMW have recently held a clinic group study on the east coast and west coast to show owners a new entry-level hatchback.

The model, which will fit below the 1-Series (which is odd since I was thinking the 1 Series was going to be the smallest car they made unless they wanted to produce a 0), will feature traditional BMW styling in hatchback form and will be built on the company’s upcoming front-wheel-drive platform.

BMW purists shake at the hearing of these words, front wheel drive, what has this company come to? To be honest though, it might not be that bad as the revived Mini which is a BMW project is a great handling car.

Speaking of the Mini, the new generation of models will be sharing the basis of this small hatch FWD BMW entry-level and that basis will be the front-wheel-drive architecture the company is working on, according to BMW CEO Norbert Reithofer.

And as the next generation of Mini this new BMW is set to have a debut within the year 2014. Development boss Klaus Draeger has confirmed this and also mentioned that the size group for the new BMW will be in the same playing field with the Volkswagen Golf and the Scirocco.
