BMW i3 Electric Comes with Heavy Production to Keep Up with High Demands

BMW has decided to increase the production for the i3 electric model, since there are mode demands to cope with.

The fresh new out of the box BMW i3 electric has been so successful for the last couple of months, that an increase in production is mandatory at the factory where it is assembled.

Harald Krueger, the chief production at BMW stated that the company had to come up with a solution to raise production from 70 to 100 units a day.

More than that, Krueger also assures us that there will be around 20,000 units to be built “by the end of the year”, in order to keep up with the high demand.

In the US, the BMW i3 electric can be purchased from $41,350, with destination fees of around $925. As for the range extender, the version will be also coming at $45,200.

In Germany, the BMW i3 electric can be yours at the price of 34,950 euro if you choose the all-electric model. There are also other prices to choose from like a choice of 39.450 euro.
