BMW M4 might be ditching manual transmission altogether
The industry is slowly phasing out the manual transmission, bringing up the automatics.
And a recent rumor says that the BMW M4 will also ditch the manual transmission in favor of an automatic.

Thing is, the M4 will not only come available in the automatic gear box configuration, the same source also says the manual will not even be available as an optional feature.

Considering how technology is evolving and how the recent trends favor efficiency, it is easy to argue that this is a natural next step for the vehicle. And with all the big changes BMW made to their car line-up, it might even be a good time for this move.

But try to explain this to a die-hard manual transmission fan, who values the feel of the car while driving a manual above all else. And in all honesty, anything the M Division of BMW builds is supposed to be driven for the pure pleasure of driving.

For now, no official statement on this subject has been released, and while there are plenty rumors going around, we should just focus on what we know, like why the hell did they choose that golden paint?
