BMW M2 Coupe Undergoes a Stage 3 Power Boost, Installation by Mcchip-DKR
The 2016 BMW M2 Coupe remains the new star of BMW`s M high-performance fleet, the model getting its share of attention from a lot of aftermarket shops. And we have seen in action wearing outstanding aero kits and lots of power underneath the skin.
The latest project is signed by no other than Mcchip-DKR tuner, and involves some slight visual touches and a hefty dosage of power under the hood.
The BMW M2 Coupe already comes with an extremely appealing yet aggressive body styling, highlighted by the plethora of M Performance Parts, both outside as well as inside, so the tuner considered that except for some slight touches at the front and rear, other mods would not have been unnecessary.
As for the Stage 3 kit, this comes with the right price of 8.090 euros. From where I stand, this is not much, considering the new added power. Thanks to an ECU remapping, some new turbos in-house built, as well as a downpipe with 200 cells cat, this lad here is extremely potent to deliver a total of 445 horsepower and 600 Nm of torque.
However, if you decided to make it even more powerful, then for some extra bucks, you can fine-tune it for a total of 450 horsepower and 690 Nm of torque, and that due to the tuner`s special Lightweight Performance intercooler.
As far as we have heard, the tuner is also rumored to add-up some nice modifications inside the car, the cabin tweaking sportier look and high-end materials that would make it a real special project. Until further details emerge, feel free to take a look at the media below with the tuner`s latest M2 project!
