2016 BMW M2 Due to Arrive at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show
We have seen the “baby M” tens of times on the web, in different renderings, spy shots and rumors according to which the model would or would not arrive on the market.
However, a couple of days ago, new fresh information with the 2016 BMW M2 have been provided from 2addicts, where a member revealed that the model would be officially unveiled at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, in a wide variety of paintjobs, along with other details.
We should thus expect the “baby M” wrapping some cool colors from the BMW M Individual catalogue, like the Alpine White, Black Sapphire, Long Beach Blue or the Mineral Grey. On top of that, the body color would be also complemented by the 19-inch alloys.
The interior of the 2016 BMW M2 would also be exclusive, thanks to the fitting of black leather, blue stitching, carbon fiber inserts, along with some high-tech gizmos, such as the new Navigation Pro, multiple phone systems, Internes access, Harmah Kardon sound system and lots more.
Under the hood, the 2016 BMW M2 might pack the 3.0-liter six-cylinder turbocharged unit, with 365 horsepower and 465 Nm of torque, enough to reach 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds, at a topping of 250 km/h. All the power will be sent to the rear via a six-speed manual as well as a seven-speed DCT.
