Read Time:1 Minute, 42 Second

Some rendering with the second generation G23 BMW 4-Series have recently popped up on the web, giving us a closer look on how the model would like, once it will be ready somewhere in 2017. Unfortunately, the G23 BMW 4-Series will become available on the market in 2020.

The renderings were released by the French auto online publication L`Automobile, which previews the body of the so called G23 BMW 4-Series. As seen in the renderings, the upocming 4-Series might come with some body elements taken from the M4, like the new headlights and the taillights, but with a more aggressive overall design and sharper cues.

Surely, these are just simple renderings that might not reflect the final body style. Apart from that, reports state that the G23 BMW 4-Series will underpin the CLAR platform, also seen on the 3-Series and which will come with a rear-drive layout. Along with the new architecture, the model is believed to be shorter than the F30 Series, but will fit the same features, like adjustable suspension dumpers, active steering, torque vectoring system hooked to the vehicles` ABS, switchable anti-roll and a few more.

Surely that the high technology will also set in the G23 BMW 4-Series, especially since we are talking about the car`s safety features, like automatic braking, self-parking with remote control, semi-autonomous driving, active lane-keeping assist and others, which are also seen on the future G20 BMW 3-Series.

Under the hood, BMW will fit the G23 4-Series with an engine lineup, consisting of three-, four- and six-cylinder units. But for the moment the performance figures are kept secret! Would you think that the future 4-Series would look like the one rendered here?
