BMW M2 Seen Cruising in Beverly Hills
The BMW German based carmaker is ready to make its grand debut with the upcoming BMW M2 sports car, the official replacement of the 1M, at the end of the year, or the beginning of 2016.
But until then, it seemed that the BMW M2 is playing around for some tests in the United States, where the model was spotted on the streets of Beverly Hills, while wearing some camouflage as well. This might not be the first time to see the model, even from a short distant, but we can depict a muscular body design, complemented by an aggressive personality.
Speaking about personality, the upcoming BMW M2 is also set to some with revised front and rear bumpers, sills, front wings, boot lid, as well as the 19-inch M wheels.
As we can also see here in the picture, the M2 will also be a little bit smaller and lighter than the 1M, meaning that the model is now standing at 1530 kg, featuring carbon fiber strut brace or composite plastic panels, as also found on the M3 and M4 models.
The BMW M2 will also be fresh under the hood, as it will sport the N55 TwinPower 3.0-liter unit, and not the same inline-six turbo unit, found on the M3 and M4, as previously expected. The engine will develop 370 horsepower and will be hooked to a manual or an automatic transmission.
