BMW X2 Reported for 2017
The BWM X2 is ending up in our news again, this time the model being reported to come in 2017, the long-expected model to stand on the ULK1 platform, also be found on the new MINI and the 2-Series Active Tourer.
The BMW X2 will also come with a front- as well as an all-wheel drive.
The design of the BMW X2 will be exclusive, following the footsteps of the BMW Sport Active Coupes, coming with an amazing sloping roofline and “beefed up” wheel arches.
More than that, the BMW X2 will also receive some final touches, like new design cues, angular headlights, sharp creases, as well as a larger double kidney grille.
Under the hood, the fresh BMW X2 will come with a choice of three- and four cylinder units, starting with a 1.5-liter turbo petrol and a diesel one, found on the 218i and 218d Active Tourer.
At the top of the engine lineup stands a four-cylinder unit which develops 300 horsepower.
The company is also planning a plug-in hybrid version, which would come with a 100 mpg increase.
