BMW to offer real-time traffic information
The Germans from BMW decided to create a new software program for their customers, this information coming shortly after the company released the “Ultimate Drive” mobile application which lets the drivers to share their favorite routes or roads in over 50 countries. The application is now available for free in Apple’s App Store and Google’s Android Market, more details on this subject being available at this link.

Today, the German manufacturer announced that all the BMW owners will benefit from a new software program able to provide real-time traffic information right on their computers.
The Real-Time Traffic Information (RTTI) system comes quite handy as it provides accurate information, helping the drivers to carefully plan their journeys and get real-time details about weather conditions or crowded routes.
In order to benefit from this service, you should use the BMW ConnectedDrive. The service is available now but it will be available with the My BMW Remote app as well, starting this fall.

BMW says that the traffic information will be provided by fleet vehicles, this decision making the information much more accurate. “All BMW ConnectedDrive subscribers can also be sure that the data they receive online from the BMW Routes Portal matches the information transmitted to their car,” concludes the company.
