This is the project of BMW Group DesignworksUSA.

They’ve managed to create the Hydrogen Powered Salt Flat Racer from ordinary pieces such as barbecue lids and oil barrels. With this car, BMW is hoping to draw attention to the process of reusing. You don’t necessarily have to recycle, you can use the product once more in a different way. There are multiple ways to benefit from any object which you can imagine and this is the perfect time to do it. The car looks great as a render, but take a look at the last picture where everything is explained. Even a belt can be used to recreate the Hydrogen Powered Salt Flat Racer. pictures after the jump

This is a clever campaign by BMW and I am sure that it will catch on.
