When I first laid my eyes on the below BMW X5 M dressed in the exquisite Melbourne Red, and wearing the HRE`s new wheels, I thought it was the work of Photoshop here, but it turned out to be a genuine tuning program put together by HRE Performance tuner.

With the fitting of the new wheels which come in perfect contrast with the body wrap, the tuner wanted to make it clear that you don’t mess with the BMW X5 M, adding aggressiveness and advanced aerodynamics at the same time.

The wheels refer to the HRE P200 from the tuner and are sized 22 x 10 and 22 x 12.5 front and rear, respectively. They are finished in Brushed Dark Clear and perfectly complement the SAV`s Melbourne Red, as well as the car`s new carbon fiber rear diffuser and the high-performance Akrapovic exhaust system.

As for the car`s performance under the hood, there seem to be no modifications carried out at this point. Even so, one would settle with the stock engine, which delivers enough power for such a monster SAV.

We are dealing here with a 4.4-liter V8 TwinPower Turbo mill, developing 575 horsepower and 553 lb-ft of torque, meaning that the sprint from 0 to 100 km/h is achieved in just 4.0 seconds. The top speed also stands at 250 km/h.

What I love about BMW is that it doesn’t rest on its laurels and is continuously pushing things forward when it comes to promote its latest cars. In this case, a new promotional video has been launched to demonstrate, again, the formidable features and performance of the 2015 BMW X6 M.

The new clip is revealing the 2015 BMW X6 M in its plenitude, showcasing the model`s performance while roaring its engine or handling the tight corners on the track.

The 2015 BWM X6 M will be officially launched at the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show, after being unveiled a couple of weeks ago and already becoming one of the company`s stars, along with the X5 M.

The 2015 BMW X6 M is mainly impressing with the power under the hood, in the shape of a 4.4-liter V8 twin turbo, developing 567 horsepower and an impressive 750 Nm of torque.

All the power is connected to the newest 8-speed M Steptronic transmission, which makes the model run the 0 to 100 km/h track in 4.2 seconds, at a top speed of 250km/h. Full details will be reveal in Los Angeles.

BMW is preparing its next-generation of X5 M and X6 M to be the outstanding SUVs on the market, as the models will make their debut somewhere probably at the end of the year.

Since we have already seen the prototype of the upcoming X5 M in spied photos, this would be our first time to reveal, also caught in the act, the X6 M prototype.

The SUV in the pictures is definitely the new X6 M, because of the very aggressive front bumper, featuring larger intakes and wider air dam.

As for the X6 M`s power, we might state that the SUV is a monster under the hood. We are talking about a 4.4-liter V8 engine with a rough 555 horsepower.

If things go pretty well for the new X6 M, the German luxury automaker is likely to carry on with this powerful powerplant, even if the basic drivetrain is supposed to remain the same.

The car might also feature carbon fiber and other light material that would significantly reduce the weight, as the engineers from BMW were working on an engine stop-start system for the SUV.

With reduce weight, thus comes a greater fuel economy, also due to the vehicle`s dual-clutch transmission, which would replace the automatic from the present model.

BMW’s development of the F15 X5 M model seems to be going at pretty high pace since they’re done with the track work and are now running it down the road.

As a fan could say, I’ll admit to it being an overstatement. Development on a car is never going to be over and that there’s still a few track days in store for the next X5 M.

The public appearance is lovely though, especially since the upcoming X5 M is starting to get less and less shy about showing up around here.

The noise this thing is making is pretty sweet too, that twin-turbocharged 4.4 liter V8 can really sing when it has a set of quad exhausts at its disposal.

Unfortunately though, this is pretty much where the really good news end. The camouflage on the SAV is still pretty heavy.

Most of the details on this car are simply hidden away. The only exposed bits are the roof, the front windows and the alloy wheels.

The wheels will be changed when the car is released and the windows weren’t expected to be different anyway so we’re basically getting to see nothing.

Among the most important changes here we’ll see the underpinnings so they couldn’t really be visible at any point.

That engine is supposed to be turned up to around 600 horsepower whereas the weight should be dropping by about 330 pounds.

Should this information turn out to be accurate, the F10 BMW X5 M should once again stun the world of family friendly SUVs in terms of performance.

They can’t afford to stand still. Just because they’ve got the advantage and some of the best products out there doesn’t mean they can relax.

BMW know this and they’re currently working towards several new cars. Among them, one of the most interesting bits is the BMW X5 SAV, and its special M division version.

This model will be known as the F15 BMW X5 M and it was recently spied, caught on video no less, going round the Nurburgring for a shakedown.

Since the actual car isn’t due for a major makeover, the M version isn’t going to be a revolution either. The same engine will be used as will most of the underpinnings.

Have a look at what the familiar twin-turbocharged 4.4 liter V8 S63Tu engine can manage when lugging around an enormous SAV around the track:

Sounds awesome, seems to be moving at quite the pace and it’s a boring change from the previous version. In fairness, there’s quite a few common bits but you can’t deny the engineer’s effort.

The charge-air coolers are new, the cylinder heads are new, there’s been some work done to the timing, some to the oil sump and the pump.

Power is expected to go up to around 560 horses and it is expected to do so in a reliable fashion, no matter how much you’re killing it around the track.

The F15 BMW X5 doesn’t sound like that much of a difference but when you look down at it, the changes do stack up.

I couldn’t say for sure what was under the Chrstimas Tree on the 25th at Autobild but I’m sure they had a lot of fun the days after since the got to write this up.

The famed German magazine took some of BMW’s finest vehicles and lined them up at Sachsenring for a few hot laps and some fun.

We don’t know much about the fun part, but the lap times have produced some pretty interesting results, both for BMW lovers and number loving geeks.

Bear in mind that Autobild didn’t mess about and try the diesel BMW 1 Series or anything of the likes. They’ve stuck to quite the recipe, not using anything other than M division creations.

The list of vehicles they had up for runs is quite the impressive one and includes the following vehicles:

The BMW X5 M is one of the most impressive ways the Bavarians have shown us how they can bend the will of physics to suit their ways. It is a monumental technical achievement.

To some, what the BMW X5 M offers is more than necessary, yet to American tuner Vorsteiner, this still isn’t enough.

Not only do they demand more from the very fast SUV, but they also plan to help it achieve the serious tasks they set for it.

The Vorsteiner aftermarket parts catalog now includes a new aerodynamic body kit offering that was specifically designed for the BMW X5 M.

This new kit consists of an add-on front spoiler, a vented hood and, at the back, we find a brand new rear diffuser. As you can see none of these mods are aimed at creating a lower drag coefficient.

After all, what would be the point of the BMW X5 M going any faster than it already does and who would ever care about the fuel economy improvements possible on this fuel breathing monster?

The improved downforce sticks the BMW X5 M even better into the road and the new vents help the engine cool off since it now works harder.

It may work a little harder but Vorsteiner doesn’t help out the engine at all as it’s still the standard 4.4 liter V8 twin-turbo powerplant with 555 horsepower and 501 lb-ft of torque.

No pricing was announced for the new Vorsteiner BMW X5 M Aero Kit but as every bit is made out of Carbon Fiber Autoclave Pre-Preg I wouldn’t expect to be remotely cheap.

The BMW X5 M and the BMW X6 M may not be the best looking cars out there, or the most fuel efficient, or the most practical but they certainly have a way of selling like hot cakes.

We know BMW’s sales aren’t exactly shabby at the moment but it seems that in markets like Asia they’re so good people actually need help standing out in their very expensive SAVs.

Attempting to counter this situation, the BMW X5 M and X6M are about to get new packs from what other range if not the Individual.

Destined to be different, there are quite a few differences between the Individual X5 M, X6 M and the regular versions of the same cars.

To begin with, the exterior is going to be available in a few new paint finishes such as Azurite Black metallic, Ruby Black metallic, Citrine Black metallic or Pearl Silver metallic.

Inside, things are, once again, different as they’re now covered in premium Merino leather and can be teamed with rare woods such as piano black, eucalyptus and walnut.

Keeping the interior special there’s an upgrade on the infotainment system to feature Internet connectivity and rear seat entertainment facilities.

A final upgrade for the BMW X5 M and X6 M Individual package comes in between the world of the interior and exterior as they both come glass roofs, be them panoramic or electric.

I must say that I never thought that there will ever exists a competitor for BMW M3 because this car is so unique but BMW is really going to this and is quite a good thing. Anyway, you should first know that BMW will make an ActiveHybrid version for any BMW car and I really thought at this before to know it.

As you can read in the title, this BMW M3 Competition Package will come with an auto start stop system in the spring of this year. This system makes an economy of 8% from the fuel that you usually “eat”.

The new BMW X5 M will be also launched bar to bar with that BMW M3 Competition Package at the Geneva Auto Show and it will come with 19 or 20 inch wheels in special tires, larger air intakes, satinized aluminum window surrounds, leather steering wheel, footrest and some interior tweaks.

I have to tell you that these tunings are awesome, I fell in love with them especially with the tuning for BMW X6 M because as we all know, BMW X6 has a very hot, sexy and attractive design comparing it to BMW X5 but at the same time we can’t say that this car is ugly.

Taking in consideration the fact that both cars are looking more than great without a tuning, now they are gorgeous because this tuners made a great job with both cars but as I previously said, the tuning for BMW X6 M is looking best.

Oh, there is another great thing namely that these are tunings of the M versions of the cars (as I said in a previously post, these are going to be launched in January) so that the performances are even greater namely that now these cars will be able to develop up to 600 horsepower which is tremendous.
