With BMW unveiling the Z4 concept at the Pebble Beach Concours d`Elegance last year, it was just a matter of time until we`d see the production model in countless tests before arriving on the market next year, along with Toyota`s Supra model.

A recent spy video revealed the future Z4 Cabrio fully camouflaged and undergoing tests just outside Magna Steyr facility, near Graz, Austria, where it will be produced along with Toyota Supra and other models from BMW.

Thanks to previous spy photos and leaked info, we already know how the new Z4 Cabrio will look and feel, however, there might be some changes occurring along the way.

As we can depict from the spy video, the new 2019 BMW Z4 Cabrio is wider and more aggressively-looking, thanks to the new and sporty front bumper which comes with a wide twin kidney grille and sweptback headlights. At the rear end, this test mule in question also comes with slim taillights and dual exhaust system.

As for interior updates, the new Z4 will feature plenty of new technologies, like digital instrument cluster, new switchgear or freestanding infotainment system, all perfectly blending in with the high-premium leather upholstery.

Performance wise, the new Z4 is likely to arrive in Europe with four-cylinder engine with 195 horsepower and 320 Nm of torque, equipping the entry-level variant, while in the US, the same engine would produce more – 250 horsepower. However, there is word of a second engine in the shape of a 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo six-cylinder engine with two power configurations – 330 horsepower and 380 horsepower, respectively.

The new 2019 BMW Z4 Cabrio is expected for an official release at the 2018 Paris Motor Show. More details will be provided this summer.

While the upcoming BMW M140 from the 1-Series is still getting its hard testing on the Ring, other test mules like the new X5 SUV and the long-awaited BMW 8-Series Coupe were seen spotted for some road tests in Slovenia.

Thesd are not the first spy photos with the two models, but it is definitely a premiere seeing them cruising together and still wearing heavy camouflage. That means that both of them are still faraway from their official unveiling next year.

Just as expected, both new models will be sharing the same CLAR modular architecture, also underpinning the new 5-Series and 7-Series, meaning more lightweight materials and a wide range of engines underneath their skin. The same platform will also allow for a Convertible and a hardcore M8 variant in the 8-Series.

Following latest spy shots in Copenhagen this spring, the all-new BMW X5 is back into the spotlights with its final shape. It looks refreshed with the much larger kidney grilles, more accentuated shark nose and smaller taillights.

Inside, the cabin is also likely to borrow the technological suite from the new 5-Series, while in the engine department we will see a wide range of petrol burners and diesels. Thanks to the same CLAR platform, the new X5 SUV will also shed off around 300 kg, improving the car`s handling characteristics and fuel economy.

As for the upcoming 8-Series, the model will take its design language from the 8-Series Concept, but the heavy camouflage won`t reveal its final shape; at least not just yet. Inside, the cabin of the 8-Series test mule is also likely to borrow the Concept`s technological goodies and design. Thus, we expect to see at least the same gauge cluster or button configuration.

As for the future M8, the top range model is set to “be built on the genes of the 8-Series and augment its DNA with added track ability and generous extra portions of dynamic sharpness, precision and agility,” as BMW M chief Frank van Meel, once declared. The engine lineup technical details for the new 8-Series and M8 remain hidden at the moment.

Following a batch of spy photos with the upcoming BMW Z5 while performing snowy testing at the Arctic Circle, the official successor of the Z4 is popping-up into the spotlights again in a new set of photos, which depict the test mule wearing less camo, and revealing its rear exhaust system with new tips.

The model is thus getting ready for an official debut at the end of the year, standing side-by-side its sibling Supra sedan, from Toyota. Both will be built in Graz, Austria.

Compared to the last year`s first spy photos which depicted the future Z5 wearing circular exhaust tips, this test mule is wearing now more angular exhaust tips and a new rear bumper layout. And even if the model is still under serious testing, this seems to be the car`s final shape before entering the production line.

This means that the all-new BMW Z5 is also going to come with the headlights and taillights presently found on the test mule, along with the extra panels with the black rivets. Also, the trunk lid is likely to preserve the present shape, while the spoiler lip will make the styling more prominent.

More than that, unlike the BMW Z4 which used a hardtop, the future Z5 will be using a soft top with a fabric setup, which will shed off important weight and add more space into the car`s trunk.

In the engine department, as you already probably know, the upcoming BMW Z5 would be equipped with a wide range of four- and six-cylinder engines, shortly followed by a hybrid powertrain with an all-wheel drive setup. As for a much more potent M variant, this possibility is just a dream for the moment.

The official successor of the hot BMW Z4, the future Z5 Roadster has been seen spotted in new tests at the Arctic Circle, the model now coming with less camouflage around the body, which clearly indicates that it is closer and closer to the final production version.

BMW German carmaker is busy testing out different prototypes that will surface starting the end of 2017 with the famous “duo”, the all-new Z5 Roadster and the upcoming Toyota Supra Coupe, both hitting the production line in Graz, Austria.

As we can depict from the spy photographs, the test mule is slowly but surely taking its final shape, the model looking more advanced in terms of aerodynamics, yet still coming with an overall design which resembles the former Z4.

Speaking about new styling details however, the future BMW Z5 Roadster will be more appealing, adopting a more imposing attitude. The car`s main highlights refer to the new black rivets which for the moment remain hidden, adding the quarter panels and the doors, all coming with some slight changes as well. The rear end is also hiding modified taillights yet adds a third brake light on the now smaller trunck lid. Chances are that other changes might occur on the way as well.

As far as the interior goes, even if we do not have any official images, the cabin is definitely going to be tweaked with the same high-tech gizmos, just like other “new kids from the block”, meaning the latest technology, up-to-date infotainment system and sporty features that would separate it from the rest of the new BMW models.

Concerning news of a hardcore M version, the rumor mill hasn’t still confirmed such planning, but even so, both the Z5 Roadster and the new Toyota Supra will be extremely appreciated in terms of performance. BMW has sent the future G01 X3 for some new tests at the Ring, which was the perfect opportunity for journalists to catch it on a new spy video. The test mule seen here is wearing full camouflage, indicating that the SUV will come with significant changes as opposed to the current model.

We have seen the BMW X3 on the streets ever its humble arriving in 2011, and this would be the first time to come with visible changes at the exterior, interior as well as under the hood.

As we already know from the previous articles with the spied X3, the model wearing here full black and white camouflage will come with plenty of new styling bits, also seen on the latest generation X1, only being also bigger and wider inside the cabin.
