The BMW has recently confirmed the existence and the upcoming of the new BMW X1 model, as the SAV has been recently caught on shots while cruising the streets of Munich, and wearing heavy camouflage on the body. This would be the first clue that the SAV is ready to be unveiled in just a few months.

The spy shots were provided by photographer Christian Wimmer. Even if the new BMW X1 SAV is all wrapped in camouflage, the design cues can be well distinguished, the model coming with a new body language, reworked body and a much sportier stance and attitude.

Apart from the design, the BMW X1 SAV will be also using a front-wheel drive platform, following thus other famous models from BMW, while inside the model will receive some standard features, also seen on the present model, but it will also fit the latest technological features, which will make it stand out from the crowd.

So far, this is all we have about the new BMW X1, but it will surely make a good impression, once it will be unveiled in a couple of months. But rest assure that more will be revealed in the upcoming period, as BMW has made a habit out of teasing us with its upcoming models.

After the BMW X6 was seen in some renderings numerously, showing up in different body styles, like a convertible or like a three-door SAV, it was now the X6M version to be rendered online by the famous X-Tomi Design.

The rendering with the BMW X6M version is revealing a powerful SAV that is believed to sport a huge twin turbo V8 unit under the hood, developing 550 horsepower. Yet, we are not sure when exactly the X6M version will be launched.

To be a reminder, the 2015 BMW X6 version was just launched a couple of weeks ago, with the SAV coming with a much sportier design than its predecessor X5.

BMW car manufacturer is in the cards of adding a new crossover to its lineup, an X2, which would set foot on the roads somewhere in 2017.

The German auto maker already made its first move by launching the X6 to open a new market, a couple of years ago, and now the company is planning to manufacture a smaller version of the SAV, namely the X4.

The X4 will probably see the day light at the end of this year, being based on the X3 platform. With these plans ahead, it will soon turn its head towards the X2, coming to the market in 2017.

There is still no an official announcement confirming the report, but this might be true, since the X2 will be based on the X1`s platform which will enter the production line at the beginning of 2015.

The BMW X2 is set to be a smaller version of the X4, yet resembling with the futuristic X1, with a sloping roof line.

The engine might be the same one found on the X1, including a lineup of units with three- and four-cylinder with direct injected gasoline and a “common rail diesel units”, with engines ranging from 1.5 to 2.0-liters.

The transmission of the forthcoming BMW X2 might include a 6-speed manual and an 8-speed automatic.

The next-generation of the X5, which had an official launch last year in May, is now again in the spot lights with its new video promotional video and promotional shots.

The campaign is settle for Romania, since the country well received this wonderful SAV, as Romanians are generally crazy about BMWs.

We should also remind the X5`s specs and features, promoting thus the car in Romania one more time through this article.

The 2014 BMW X5 sports a great 4.4-liter V8 engine, for the xDrive50i, developing a massive 450 horsepower (330kW) and also 650 Nm (479 lb-ft) of torque. The sprint from 0 to 60 km/h is done is 5.0 seconds, the SAV having a top speed of 250 km/h for this version.

It’s a question that’s been bugging me for a while now. It’s happened since pretty much the first second I had seen this ungodly creation.

Obviously, the X5, in all its E70 SAV-ishnes isn’t the isn’t the sort of vehicle that was designed with such a major modification planned in its life at any point, but that’s not my concern.

Nor is the fact that it looks out of place no matter what you do with it. My question is this, would a BMW enthusiast accept to ride in it?

After all, a limo is embarrassing no matter what vehicle it is. Would the BMW badge make it more bearable?

Moving on, would you go even further and do some driving? Would you sit behind the wheel of this and get out the other end without dying in shame?

When you sit down and think about it, there’s no better driving SUV than the X5 and nor is there anything this big that doesn’t feel clunky.

I’m almost accepting this sacrilegious creation that’s based on the E70 X5. I’m actually willing to drive it, as long as I don’t have to admit to ownership.

It’s actually the ownership changing hands that brought this car to our attention. The thing is now for sale, so it hit public attention quite unusually.

The pricing is set at $43.500, a good deal less than the 65.000 USD it cost to make. A car offering seating for 15 is quite the family car.

That bar in the middle might be tricky to handle but at 21.500 miles traveled it’s quite the incredible offer.

As we know, we don’t exactly live in a world of supercars. We don’t really live in a world of green econoboxes either and nor do we see executive saloons everywhere.

These days, just about everybody seems to be making some sort of SUV, SAV, crossover or any hybrid contraption in between them.

We know that sometime in about two years BMW will introduce something that looks like the render above. A new model that’ll likely be called the BMW X4.

Picking up some of the slack off the demand the BMW X6 SAV can’t keep up with, the new car coupe look-a-like crossover will be closer in size to the X3.

When it hits the market, the new bimmer would be a main rival for genuinely sporty looking crossovers such as the Range Rover Evoque and Porsche’s upcoming Cajun Macan.

In terms of performance, we’ll likely see the BMW X4 behave a lot like the X3 but with a bit of a more aerodynamic and lighter body, things are looking up.

What might make a considerable difference on that front, apart from the choice of engine, will be the choice of transmission.

BMW will reportedly offer a six speed manual, a seven speed dual clutch and the eight speed auto. Each will behave differently.

I’m not the BMW X6′ biggest fan but I have to say, if this rendering turns out to be accurate, the X4 could be quite a sweet looker. Even if a bit like Lamborghini Urus.

When it does come to the market, BMW expects to sell the X4 big time, this is why the Spartanburg production plant will be churning out more than 150.000 units per year.
