After the official presentation of the facelifted 2017 M4, the German based carmaker has also launched the 2017 4-Series. We are also looking at a facelifted variant of the current model, coming with some new styling changes and new pots under the hood.

Once arriving on the United Kingdom in April, it will be available in both the two-door coupe and the convertible, adding as well the four-door Gran Coupe, which will come with a base price of £32,525.

At the front, the new styling features refer to updated front end with revised air ducts in the lower bumper, updated headlights with LEDs for the low and high beam, optional adaptive LED function and a few more. The rear end also comes with updated taillights and bumper.

As for the exterior colours, the facelifted 2017 BMW 4-Series is available with the one-off Snapper Rocks Blue and Sunset Orange, complemented with the new 18- or 19-inch alloy wheels.

As for the cabin, we are looking here at new tweaks like new steering wheel design, electroplated aluminum and chrome trims, high-gloss black panels and dashboard trim finishes. The gadgetries of the updated 4-Series comprise a new navigation system with top notch Professional unit with new interface, Head-Up Display, multifunctional instrument display and so on.

Under the hood, the 2017 BMW 4-Series facelift comes with new petrol burners and diesels, starting with the new 2.0-liter four-cylinder petrol with 181 horsepower in the 420i and 248 horsepower in the 430i. The engine lineup continues with the 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine with 321 horsepower in the 440i.

On the diesels side, there is also the 2.0-liter four-cylinder with 187 horsepower in the 420d, and 221 horsepower in the 425d, adding as well a 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder developing 254 horsepower in the 430d and 309 horsepower in the 435d xDrive.

The 2017 BMW 4-Series Gran Coupe adds a 2.0-liter four-cylinder diesel with 148 horsepower in the 418d. All engines are hooked to a six-speed manual or eight-speed torque converter automatic transmission.

In case you doubted that the all-new 2017 BMW M4 Facelift might miss the most important auto events of the year, then you have been wrong. It is here and is ready to show you what new goodies it has received from the German based carmaker.

Even if some might have accused the model of not being that “facelifted” as it was supposed to, the all-new M4 does bring forwards a wide array of changes which make the exterior and interior more interesting.

The first striking thing is the gorgeous Sakhir Orange that the new F82 BMW M4 is coming with, adding as well the massive 20-inch alloy wheels which indicates from the start that we are dealing here with the M Competition Package.

Besides the M Competition Package, which kind of gives the new M4 everything it needs, the model is now coming standard with new LED headlights with hexagonal lighting similar to the ones seen in the new 5-Series, adding as well the optional LED headlights. As for the car`s taillights, these are also slightly revised, looking here at full-LEDs with horizontal lighting signature.

The cabin has also received minor updates as well, like new materials and new upholstery and trims. Some of the trims are electroplated, with the chrome appearing around the air conditioning, while the centre console is now tweaked with gloss black panel. There will also be three new leather upholstery options, like Midnight Blue, Cognac and Ivory White, with trim options as well – Carbon Aluminum, Light Fineline and High Gloss Black with Pearl Chrome strips. Technologically wise, the infotainment system has also been updated, along with the Multifunctional Instrument Display also adding new functions.

In the engine department, there are no signs of any power boosts, the 3.0-liter straight-six engine coming with rather the same 425 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque, allowing an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.0 seconds – if fitted with the M Competition Package and the seven-speed DKG. With the manual transmission, the same 4.2 second time is achieved. The top speed can stand at 280 km/h with the M Driver`s Package.

Ever since its unveiling on the market in 2013 the BMW i3 has represented the carmaker`s benchmark in the electric segment, the model coming with an impressive drivetrain under the hood, the latest technology available on the market at that time and with an astonishing mile range.

The increase development in the electric segment has led to more and more innovations from different carmakers like Chevrolet, Hyundai or Renault, not to mention Tesla, a fact that has forced BMW to find solutions to stay fit on the market.

And the BMW i3 really needed a new face and some major improvements to cope with the growing competition; as a result, the long-expected facelifted was recently seen in the first spy photos, revealed by Automedia via Motor1 auto magazine.

As expected, the new i3 is covered in camouflage, which indicates that there are going to be some modifications at the exterior, starting with new colours and slightly revised body styling, and continuing inside, with the cabin becoming more ergonomic and adding the latest technology, also found on the new models from BMW.

Besides the exterior which may not be that important, BMW needs to work on the car`s power under the hood and to improve its mile range. Thus, according to recent reports, the BMW i3 facelift should come with more power – around 170 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque in the top of the line S variant, with less than 7.3 second run from 0 to 100 km/h. Also, the mile range is expected to increase by up to 50 percent, meaning around 321 kg.

We are not sure when the BMW i3 facelifted will be officially unveiled, but we should expect it on the market in early 2018. Prices will be announced prior to their debut.

BMW has already expressed its expansion plan on its future model range, with Auto Motor und Sport recently stating that no less than 28 of its models will undergo series updates by 2021. Some of them were already announced, seen at work in spied tests or reviewed.

It all started last year with the fresh introduction of the all-new 2017 BMW 5-Series, carrying on with the carmaker`s plan of replacing the existing 5-Series GT with a new 6-Series GT: the model was also spied in camouflage.

Also, BMW is working on the future BMW X7, which is going to be the biggest, widest, most aggressive and most powerful model within the X lineup so far. The model, is going to arrive on the market in 2019.

More than that, a couple of weeks ago we also witnessed the first spy photos with the all-new BMW M5, the potent model getting ready to break loose with more than 600 horsepower onboard. Also, the 3-Series and the X5 will break cover in 2018 with more technology onboard and impressive performance under the hood.

Last but not least, we have also caught the M2 preparing for a mild facelift, while the Z5, the official replacement of the current Z4, will emerge on the market in 2018, along its half-sibling Toyota Supra. With the hybrid segment fast advancing and with the wind from Tesla blowing in the face, BMW carmaker have to take matter into its own hands and add some improvements to the already old-fashioned i8.

Ever since its unveiling more than three years ago, the BMW i8 has been a real benchmark in the hybrid segment, but the German carmaker felt it was high-time for some major improvements.

Even if the carmaker has not officially confirmed the arrival of a facelifted i8, according to sources close to bmwblog auto magazine, the new version is set to arrive in spring, next year, with an upgraded drivetrain and some new figures in terms of performance.

Once arriving next year, the BMW i8 facelifted is set to use the same 1.5-liter three-cylinder petrol burner along with a powerful electric motor. This time, the hybrid will develop 15 horsepower more than the current model.

The sprint from 0 to 100 km/h would also be improved, the same report stating around 4.2 seconds, way to impressive than the current 4.4 seconds.

Also, the hybrid`s battery pack would also be revised, allowing a 50 percent more boost in the range. And given the fact that the new i8 will also serve as a safety car in Formula E, it would come with a much larger battery, in the shape of a 10.0 kWh configuration, which would replace the present 7.1 kWh battery pack.

And since we are at it, the BMW i8 will come as well with rather the same platform modifications, just like the Formula E safety car. This implies modified upper wishbones, mounting points, as well as updated spring and dampers, or new 20-inch alloy wheels with 245/35 and 285/30 front and rear Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires.

With BMW releasing the first details of their new 2018 4-Series Facelift, the German carmaker has recently announced the arrival of the range on American soil, with prices and specs to be released as well.

Even if we are not dealing here with lots of changes in terms of exterior design and new interior tweaks, the 2018 BMW 4-Series remains a fun car to drive, and with very competitive prices on the US market.

Starting this month, American customers will have the pleasure of buying the new 4-Series from at least $42,400 in the 2018 430i Coupe, with prices reaching high in the sky $48,700 in the 400i Coupe. Add another $2,000 and you could also get the xDrive variant.

On the other hand, with the summer soon arriving, customers could also opt for the convertible variants as well, but that means throwing in more cash. We are looking here at $50,500 for the 2018 430i Convertible and $57,500 for the 440i Convertible. Once again, if you opt for the xDrive system, then you will have to come out with another $2,000.

For that money, you get plenty of features to enjoy, starting with the exterior`s wide range of ten standard colours, adding lots of optional packages.

These packages include the Essentials, Premium, Luxury, M Sport as well as the Executive Package, each one coming with its own choice of standard options, including adaptive M Suspension, Head-Up Display, Wireless Charging, new Steering Wheel heating and so on.

From a visual standpoint, the entire 2018 4-Series range is also offered with full LED and Bi-LED as standard, adding as well LED taillights with the L-shape design. The cabin is also slightly change, adding new materials, as well as the latest generation of BMW`s iDrive system with plenty of new functions.

Ever since its first unveiling on the market in 2013, the gorgeous BMW M3 has been the delight of all BMW purists worldwide, and that thanks to its extraordinary design and advanced aerodynamics that allowed for impressive performance and torque.

And it was just about time the German carmaker added some new features to the newly unveiled BMW M3, which is actually a facelifted version of last year`s model. The new M3 will hit US dealerships this July, as a 2018 MY.

As we can depict from the pictures below, the 2018 BMW M3 facelifted is looking fresh with some new styling bits, which makes it even more attractive and appealing. Not to mention that mods have also increased the car`s aggressive stance.

For an untrained eye, the new 2018 M3 might look just about the same like the current model, but for a real connoisseur, the high-end sedan is more appealing with a much sportier front and rear end. At the front end, for instance, it has received new headlights and LED light bars which perfectly blend in with the kidney grille.

Inside, the cabin remains pretty much the same, the carmaker only adding the updated illuminated M3 logo on the driver`s and passenger seats.

In case you were wondering that the engine would also suffer any upgrades, then you`re in for a big disappointment, as BMW has left the pot intact. This means that we still have to enjoy, at least for the moment, the high-performance 3.0-liter twin-turbo straight-sic cylinder engine, with 425 horsepower, delivering a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.3 seconds, when paired to a six-speed manual transmission. However, with the seven-speed dual-clutch, the same sprint is done in 4.1 seconds.

The BMW M3 and M4 have been around for almost three years and now the models are just about ready to receive a new facelift which will differentiate them from the current ones.

All the attention is around the facelifted BMW M4 Coupe, the test mule being recently caught on new spy photos while undergoing tests with camouflage around the front and rear end. This would be the second time seeing it on testing, while last week, a red LCI was also seen performing on the road.

We are dealing here with the so called BMW M4 LCI (Life Cycle Impulse) which means that the model is just about to receive some slight updates, at the exterior and cabin.

As we can depict from the spy photos, the BMW M4 LCI might arrive fresh with OLED configuration, also seen on the BMW M4 GTS, along with new taillights and a handful of mods at the front, adding some M Performance Parts at the rear end. The rather new design would be complemented with the new 19- and 20-inch front and rear alloy wheels.

The updated model will also shed off around 80 kilos, thanks to the newly added carbon fiber components at the rear end and front bumpers. This will make it higher-performance than the previous model.

In terms of performance, the BMW M4 LCI will come with the same 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine but with an improved performance of around 500 horsepower, which will make it closer to its hardcore version M4 GTS.

The all-new facelift BMW M4 is likely to be unveiled next year at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show or even earlier at the 2017 NAIAS, in Detroit, in January, along with the all-new BMW 5-Series Sedan. However, we should expect official details and pricing towards the end of the year. After all, we are looking here at the most anticipated model from BMW!

BMW has announced a series of changes in its “i” model lineup, the carmaker planning the introduction of the long-expected BMW i8 Roadster and a bunch of MINI and M plug-in hybrids.

Last but not least, the future BMW i3 will also get its share, the model lineup being extended to a total of four versions by 2017.

According to some fresh reports from BimmerToday, the 2017 BMW i3 facelift lineup will consist of four versions. The pure-electric and the range-extender that are currently on the market will receive other two versions with higher-capacity batteries.

This means that the additional i3s will pack the all-new 94-Ah battery packs, which will also translate into an increase mile range. The new BMW i3 will thus be able to extend the current 80-mile range to an impressive 120 miles.

The German based carmaker is planning to officially unveil the 2017 BMW i3 at the 2016 Paris Motor Show, in October, with sales to begin at the end of the year.

BMW has announced its five-year business plan at the firm`s annual press conference, CEO Harald Kruger confirming the introduction of a MINI plug-in hybrid and a handful of M Performance hybrids, with reduced fuel-consumption and more eco-friendly.

Rolls-Royce is currently working on some new facelifted models, like the 2018 Phantom revealed in spy shots a couple of days ago, or the recently spied Wraith facelift undergoing some final tests, before an official unveiling at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show.

The Rolls-Royce Wraith Coupe seen here is almost undisguised, the test mule being presented with only some camouflage at the front fascia, meaning that the final version will come with just a handful of updates.

We tend to believe that all-new Rolls-Royce models share common design cues and the facelifted Wraith is no exception, as it will also borrow some styling cues from the Dawn convertible.

Similarities between the two of them refer to the LED headlights and daytime running lights, increased ride height and tuned-up suspension system. The rear end might also suffer some slight mods, the Wraith facelift presuming coming with a new bumper and LED taillights with new graphics.

The cabin will tweak updated 10.2-inch infotainment system, the same one used on the Dawn Convertible, along with some other new features.

Under the hood, the Rolls-Royce Wraith Coupe might come with the same 6.6-liter bi-turbo V12 engine, with 624 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque, the sprint from 0 to 100 km/h being done in 4.6 seconds.
