BMW has sent the upcoming Z5 for some new tests and not at the cold arctic, but rather on the streets in Germany, a reason for spy photographers to catch in on shots, all wrapped in full camouflage.

This fresh batch of spy shots might give us a closer look on how the model would look in its final version, before hitting the market along the all-new Toyota sibling, in late 2017 or the beginning of 2018.

This test mule here is also showing the front and part of the rear end and indicates a more aggressive attitude and look as opposed to the late BMW Z4.

We are looking here at a more complex and evolutionary design highlighted by slanted headlights at the front end, long hood, downward sloping nose, as well as a fabric soft-top which would save weight and make room for a possible coupe version.

The rumor mill also states that the Z4`s successor would stand on a new platform, developed in a partnership with Toyota, which is said to spawn a Z5 sibling. The same platform is to be used on a future Toyota GT 86 as well. Overall, the car`s design suggests a much sportier look.

As for the engine lineup under the hood, the same rumor mill suggests the present of a hybrid mill that would join the rest of the four- and six-cylinder engines. However, the details are rather scarce at the moment.

Once it will roll out the Magna Steyr factory in late 2017, the Z5 model will become the direct competitor of the Porsche 718 Boxster, Audi TT Roadster or Mercedes-Benz SLC.

Plans for an all-new BMW 3-Series are not new, the model being caught on shots many times. Recently, the model was seen in another spy video while undergoing some snowy tests in Scandinavia.

As expected, the new BMW 3-Series Sedan is wearing heavy camouflage, which indicates that the test mule is far from its final production version.

In fact, the model is due to be officially unveiled in September, at the 2016 Frankfurt Motor Show, being launched on the market next year, as a 2018 YM.

We already know that the new models from the “Series” lineup are becoming bigger and bigger. The new 3-Series Sedan is no exception, the model standing on the UKL platform, also underpinning the 2016 BMW 7-Series.

This will definitely differentiate it from the 1-Series, which has also grown in size.

We have little clues concerning the body treatment it will receive, but overall, it would keep the same design lines as the previous generation. However, the camouflage might also indicate some slight changes. We could preview the new dual exhaust tips, revised bumpers front and rear and a few more.

In terms of performance, the 2018 BMW 3-Series Sedan is rumored to come with a wide range of four- and six-cylinder engines, followed by a plug-in hybrid version as well. More details will be revealed prior to the car`s debut at the 2016 Paris Motor Show.

According to carscoops.com the upcoming BMW X5 has been caught on shots while performing some tests on heavy snow, the test mule being fully camouflaged.

Even with the camouflage and thanks to some recent rumors, the 2018 BMW X5 will not come with significant changes at the body, but will feature some evolutionary design cues, which will be better observed when it will be released in the first official photos.

As expected, the all-new BMW X5 is also set to underpin the company`s new and high-performance CLAR (Cluster Architecture Platform), also found on the new X3, X6, 3-Series or 7-Series.

The CLAR consists of lightweight materials like aluminum, carbon-fiber and magnesium, which will reduce the car`s weight and increase its flexibility, maneuverability and performance.

Speaking about performance, the 2018 BMW X5 will feature a wide array of engines with four- and eight-cylinder configurations. A hybrid version is also expected later on.

We expect fresh details with the new BMW X5 after the model will be released out of the Spartanburg plant, in South Carolina, at the end of 2017.

BMW needed a little push to face the heavy competition from Audi A4 and Mercedes-Benz C-Class and had to come up with a solution to revive the future generation of the 3-Series. And the spy shots with the model while being tested out is the proof that the carmaker is preparing a fully-new model for its competitors.

The BMW 3-Series will arrive in 2018 and will adopt a completely new attitude in terms of design, which will be much sportier and have sharper creases and rougher edges. Surely, the model is still in its early development, so a lot might change until its final release on the market.

Since we are dealing with a completely new model, the 3-Series will stand on a lightweight platform, consisting of aluminum, high-strength steel and carbon fiber composites. This would translate in more space inside, improved performance, low emissions and lower fuel consumption.

Rumors have it that the interior would also add high-quality materials, the latest technological tweaks, or improved seals for reduced noise.

Speaking about performance, the engine lineup is not confirmed at this point, but the 2018 BMW 3-Series would come with improved four- or six-cylinder petrol burners and diesels. As expected, the carmaker will also introduce plug-in hybrids and perhaps a fuel-cell powertrain.

BMW is currently testing the new-gen 5-Series in Germany, the model being expected to debut at the 2016 Paris Motor Show, this October. The 2017 BMW 5-Series will be the direct competitor of the new Mercedes-Benz E-Class.

As we can depict from the spy shots, the new 5-Series will come with a more evolutionary design, with cues borrowed from the 2016 BMW 7-Series. Even if the test mule is fully camouflaged, we might still depict the key elements, like the new headlights and front bumper, wraparound taillights, standout dual exhaust system and a few more.

The 2017 BMW 5-Series will stand on the same lightweight platform also found on the 7-Series model, shedding off around 220 pounds, which will make it more agile than its predecessor.

Performance wise, the new 5-Series is rumored to come with a wide range of engines, which will bring it closer to the 7-Series. We might see a 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo six-cylinder diesel engine, with 265 horsepower and 620 Nm of torque, or a 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo six-cylinder petrol burner, developing 326 horsepower. A higher 4.4-liter TwinPower Turbo V8 with 450 horsepower is also expected.

Apart the conventional engine lineup, the new 5-Series will also come with two plug-in hybrid versions, like the entry-level turbocharged four-cylinder engine with electric motor, producing around 280 horsepower, as well as a more powerful variant that would produce 320 horsepower. Even if the all-new 2016 BMW M2 was officially introduced in October, the carmaker is still carrying out some experiments on the car`s body.

We have previously seen the M2 cruising the streets wearing the exquisite Long Beach metallic body wrap and adorned with different body parts from the carmaker`s M division.

Now, this Alpine White M2 pops-up in our news again, wearing a slight camouflage at the front, sides and rear end, which is a clear indication that the model will be tweaked with even more M Performance Parts.

The spy shots with this BMW M2 is showcasing the sports car with a cool aero package, consisting of new front aprons and updated side skirts, along with a revised rear diffuser, which might give away a new M Performance exhaust system with bigger pipes.

Inside, we should expect the same features seen on the one displayed at the 2015 SEMA, meaning Alcantara sports steering wheel, bucket seats or carbon fiber trims.

Under the hood, this 2016 BMW M2 uses a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline six-cylinder engine, with 370 horsepower and 465 Nm of torque.

The engine can be equipped with a six-speed manual, allowing a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds. The optional seven-speed M Double Clutch transmission with Drivelogic helps the M2 reach 100 km/h in just 4.3 seconds. The topping also stands at 250 km.

The 2017 MINI Countryman is popping up in our news again in some fresh spy shots, this time the model dropping part of its camouflage, which kinda reveals its finale body shape.

As we could all see in the past few years, MINI started making its models longer and wider. And the 2017 Countryman is no exception, the seconds-generation adding 10 mm long and 150 wide.

The 2017 MINI Countryman will stand on the BMW`s new UKL platform, which means a standard FWD and optional AWD configuration. The new platform will also lead the way to bigger and more powerful engines.

We expect to see a new-generation of three- and four-cylinder engines, both petrol burners as well as diesels. But the top of the line will be offered with a 2.0-liter unit, with 231 horsepower and 320 Nm of torque, the same one seen on the John Cooper Works model.

From a visual standpoint, the 2017 MINI Countryman seems to come with the standard headlights and taillights, but with a more aggressive front and rear end. New front red brake calipers would be also added.

Rumors have it that the new Countryman would be officially unveiled at the end of 2016, quickly followed by the 2017 MINI John Cooper Works, also caught on shots here.

BMW is on its final stage before launching the 2016 BMW 3-Series GT facelift, the model in question being caught on shots while performing some tests.

As we can depict from the spy shots, the 2016 BMW 3-Series GT is wearing a light camouflage at the front and rear. Being based on the 2015 3-Series Sedan, the GT facelift will come with the same overall body language, adding though slight changes at the front and rear.

As we can depict from the spy shots, we should see new front and rear bumpers or revised lighting. Inside, additional changes will be also brought, like revised upholstery, metallic accents, updated center console and navigation system with 3D graphics, full color head-up display and so on.

No news on the engine department, but we should expect the same lineup carried over the sedan and touring, such as the 2.0-liter TwinPower Turbo four-cylinder with two power configurations, like 184 horsepower and 290 Nm of torque, or a higher 252 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque.

Rumors have it that the 2016 BMW 3-Series GT would be released at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show.

BMW`s special division Alpina is currently working on the next generation of the B7 model, which was recently caught on shots while performing some road tests, before reportedly going to the 2016 Geneva Motor Show for an official debut.

The new BMW Alpina B7 will be launched as a 2017 model and will come up with a series of changes as opposed to the present model, on the exterior as well as on the engine department.

First off, even if the new B7 is wearing a heavy camo at the body, one might depict the styling cues with the Alpine badge, meaning that the body will fit new components, such as the new front bumper with the extended lip spoiler.

Next, the same Alpina badges will also be present inside, where the cabin is also believed to receive higher-end materials as well as updated gadgets.

The word that the BMW is working on its largest SUV that would tackle others from Bentley or Rolls-Royce is out, as a spy shot was provided by Motoring publication, which is showcasing the upcoming 2018 X7, all wrapped in camouflage and sitting at BMW`s prototype factory in Garching, Munich.

As seen in the shot, the 2018 BMW X7 is massive, perhaps the largest SUVs built in the entire world, coming with three seats of row, more than enough space for luggage and legroom on the mid-row the size of a football pitch.

The upcoming BMW X7 is believed to sit on the same new architecture underpinning the 2016 7-Series, meaning that it will be much larger than the X5, with at least half a meter, meaning that third seat of row will now accommodate adults, with the chance of folding it down for increase cargo capacity, as opposed to the X5 SUV, which provides room only for small children on the third row seat.

And given the generous platform, the 2018 BMW X7 will also make room for a wide and powerful array of engines under the hood. First, BMW might use the 3.0-liter range with six-petrol and diesels, along with the new V8 configuration, with increase performance and more fuel efficiency. And as expected, a plug-in hybrid will also set in, with improve mile range and more powerful batteries.

The 2018 BMW X7 will be built at BMW`s plant in Spartanburg, South Carolina, with around 50,000 vehicles to be sold every year.
