Last week, BMW unveiled some teaser images with some of its high-end models from the M lineup, which would be displayed at the 2016 SEMA show with more M goodies, and now, the carmaker has already unveiled its gorgeous models, with the main highlight on the M3 and M4`s new carbon aero kit, and racing liveries for models within the 2- and the 3-Series.

As we can depict from the photo gallery below, the BMW M3 and M4 are displayed at the 2016 SEMA show wearing a carbon aero kit, with the main highlights on the cars` massive carbon fiber rear wing, carbon side skirts, front wings, support brackets as well as the M racing stripes, for enhanced aggressive look.

The new M Performance kit is complemented with the one-off 19-inch and 20-inch M alloy wheels, finished in dark, front and rear respectively, and wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires. Besides the M3 and M4, the wheels can also be ordered on the M2 Coupe.

Both models are also equipped with improved mechanics, such as the new race red coilover suspension system with adjustable M Performance dampers and springs, which lower the cars` ride height by 5mm to 20mm, using a spring plate.

The M Performance Package is also present on the BMW 2 Series Coupe or 3 Series Sedan, both now tweaking the black M Performance Front Splitter attachment, Carbon exterior mirror caps, M Performance wheels and tailpipes, as well as the M Performance carbon engine cover.

On the other hand, the 340i and 440i from the 3- and 4-Series, respectively, received the same special treatment, both versions now fitting the M Performance Power and Sound kit, consisting of a higher-flowing exhaust system with integrated bi-modal valve control which control the cars` engine by using the Sport and Sport Plus driving modes. This means that the power has been raised to 355 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque. The sprint from 0 to 100 km/h is done in 5.1 seconds, in the 340i version.

The F10 5 Series Sedan and some SUVs from the X lineup – including the X5 and X6 – are also tweaked with the new Remote Engine Start function, which automatically activates by pushing the “lock” button on the key three times, and allowing different functions, like heating or cooling down the cabin or opening the vehicle from the outside. Also, the 740e xDrive from the 7 Series is also highlighted by the BMW Individual Frozen Black Metallic with M Performance Parts at the exterior as well as inside the cabin.

We usually see prototype cars being tested in rough environment such as snowy roads or even very hot places like the Death Valley.

This time, YouTube user Fred Khaz spotted a camouflaged BMW 2-Series Coupe prototype while cruising on a highway near California. At the exterior, it still has a lot of camouflage which covers almost all the car, except the upper part of the rear bumper, roof and hood.

However, the most important thing about this vehicle is that it may run a new engine. We talk about a 1.5-liter three-cylinder unit producing 136 horsepower and 220 Nm of torque, enough for a 0-100 km/h sprint in

8,8 seconds and a top speed of 212 km/h. The BMW 218i will return an average fuel consumption of 5,1 liters/100 km. There’s also an eight-speed automatic transmission which comes as optional alongside the standard six-speed manual.

The German tuning specialists AC Schnitzer released details and photos on their newest tuning kit for the BMW 2-Series Coupe.

They offer both styling and performance tweaks, the latter being available for more versions in the range. To begin with, the BMW 218d gets a power boost to 171 horses while the 220d delivers 218 horsepower.

The BMW 225d also benefits from a bump to a total of 258 horsepower. Finally, the range-topping BMW M235i gains a retuned 3.0-liter six-cylinder unit producing 380 horsepower. With such performance figures, the 0-100 km/h sprint will be possible in less than 5 seconds.

At the exterior, AC Schnitzer provides new 18- to 20-inch alloy wheels, new front splitter, rear diffuser and mirror caps.

These parts are made of carbon fiber so you don’t have to be worried about any extra weight. A sports exhaust system and a new spoiler make their way into the rear end while a sports suspension offers a reduced ground clearance (40mm).

The BMW German based luxury automaker has recently confirmed the intentions of launching a 2-Series Coupe coming with an all-wheel drive.

The BMW 2-Series Coupe AWD is expected to arrive in the United States this summer and it is supposed to be very successful, especially since it is a first premiere for the 2-Series lineup to sport an all-wheel drive unit.

The BMW representatives also mentioned that the xDrive AWD will be put on the 2-Series 228i version, for which the customers will be paying an extra $1,800 for the current price of $33,050.

The BMW 2-Series AWD will be powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine, developing 240 horsepower and 255 lb-ft of torque.

However, the top of the line M235i will be costing $45,850 once it will be equipped with the xDrive all-wheel drive, while the 2WD will be costing $44,050.

So far, the details about the 2-Series Coupe AWD are rather limited, but we should expect full specs with the sportscar`s performance and high-tech equipment this summer, when the sporty coupe will be launched in the United States.

Our awaiting will be soon over when journalists around the world will be behind the wheel of the new BMW 2 Series Coupe. Until then, a banged up 2 Series was spotted having an aggressive looking M Sport package and Estoril Blue color.

The images provide a fairly good impression concerning the upcoming compact class coupe in March 2014. It seems that it has a good and balanced weight distribution, rear wheel drive and a six-cylinder.

Also, the images show a BMW 220i Coupe with 184 horsepower with a turbocharged four-cylinder and standard consumption from 5.7 to 6.3 liters/100km. Quite cheap, isn’t it?

The car will run from 0 to 100 km/h in around 7.0 seconds, having a top speed of 235 km/h. As for the price, the BMW 2 Series Coupe will have a starting price of 29,950 euros.

With this price ahead, the 220i remains the only version from the 2 Series coming with a price below 30,000 euros, soon being followed by a cheaper and a weaker version soon.

Other models like the 220d with 184 hp and M235i with 326 hp will follow the 2 Series` launch in March.

Over the past months, information about the BMW 2 Series has slowly trickled unto the internet, and the car that is taking shape has plenty promise.

With the official unveiling at the Detroit Auto Show next month, the Bavarian car maker let slip one more piece of the puzzle.

It seems that the BMW 2 Series Coupe, the model that is set to replace the 1 Series Coupe, will cost a bit more than the 1er. A comparison between the base models of each reveals that the BMW 228i is $33.025, some $1.500 more that the 1 Series. At the top end, namely the 235i, there is only a $500 difference compared to the 135i.

While the BMW 2 Series Coupe will certainly be a nice exhibit at the Detroit Auto Show, it is not the biggest attraction there. Not even for BMW, since they are planning to bring the M3 and M4, a couple of vehicles much more coveted. As for an M variant of the 2 Series, we have yet to hear anything, so, for now at least, we’ll have to make due with the M Performance parts.

Few days ago we talked about the official introduction of the new BMW 2 Series Coupe, and today we get a first rendering of the same model but wearing the M Performance kit.

This image is provided by Khalil.B, an artist who wants to show us how the German model could look like when it is unveiled.

At the exterior, the M Performance package is expected to bring new front and rear spoilers, side skirts, a revised front grille and mirror caps. Most of thee parts are made of carbon fiber with the larger alloy wheels receiving a similar black finish.

At the interior, you should expect some extra goodies such as carbon fiber trim, a sportier steering wheel, stainless steel pedals, new materials and sports seats.

We expect to see official images for the BMW 2 Series Coupe with M Performance kit soon.

After several spy shots, leaked images and rumored specifications, the all-new BMW 2 Series Coupe finally breaks cover. The new model is designed to replace the current BMW 1 Series Coupe, one of its advantages being the increased dimensions.

To be more specific, the new BMW 2 Series Coupe is 72mm longer, 32mm wider and comes with a luggage space of 390 liters. At the exterior, buyers will benefit from revised bumpers, a new front grille, air intakes and improved optical blocks.

Power is offered by a 2.0-liter TwinPower Turbo engine producing 184 horsepower and 270Nm of torque for a 0-100 km/h sprint in 7 seconds. A diesel 2.0-liter four-cylinder unit delivers 143 horsepower and 320Nm of torque for a 0-100 km/h sprint in 8,9 seconds.

More power is offered by a similar 2.0-liter diesel with 184 horses and 380Nm of torque. Even if outputs the same amount of power compared to the petrol unit, the 0-100 km/h acceleration time is 7,2 seconds. The diesel range is completed by a 218-horsepower 2.0-liter TwinPower Turbo while the range-topping model is the BMW M235i.

The latter makes use of a 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine with 326 horsepower and 450Nm of torque. With such resources and linked to an eight-speed automatic transmission, it sprints from standstill to 100 km/h in 4,8 seconds with a top speed of 250 km/h.

The new BMW 2 Series will go on sale in March with prices starting at $33,025 in the States.

The all-new BMW 2 Series Coupe have been leaked in a German magazine, only two days prior its debut. The model in question uses a light bronze finish and of course, is quite similar to the BMW 1 Series which is based on.

Under the hood of this particular model, the BMW 220d, we find a 2.0-liter four-cylinder unit producing 181 horses. The diesel powerplant offers a 0-100 km/h sprint in 7,1 seconds with a top speed of 235 km/h.

There are no interior shots available yet but you should expect the styling of the BMW 1 Series to carry over as well.

The more powerful BMW M235i Coupe is expected to benefit from a 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine producing 322 horsepower and 450Nm of torque.

With such resources, the 0-100 km/h will take only 4,8 seconds with a top speed limited at 250 km/h. No pricing details were released yet but a $39,000 starting price is rumored.

It seems that BMW is on a roll with intriguing and/or funny videos, and most of them seem to revolve around the brand new models they are bringing to the lineup.

With the i3 almost on the road and the i8 and 4 Series not far behind, BMW is finally focusing more on the 2 Series Coupe.

As far as video clips go, the German car maker already released several of them for the aforementioned models, but the 2 Series has been kept under wraps rather neatly. We don’t even have more than two batches of spy photos of it. The more recent media released by BMW gives us a glimpse of the 2 Series Coupe.

With the intent of teasing its imminent unveiling, we can only see a bit of the car in the video, with sun shafts ruining any possibility of discerning details. Still, with just 5 more days to go until the manufacturer finally lets us see the vehicle, the stage is set and enthusiasts are locked in for October 25th. Watch the video just below.
