A BMW 4-Series Convertible was recently seen wearing the special touch of the M Performance Parts, with some pictures also to be released by the BMW UK.

The BMW UK has specially customized the BMW 4-Series Convertible for its fans all over UK, so if you have the right money, just tune up your 4-Series Convertible with the M Performance Parts.

First, the BMW 4-Series Convertible has received colored accent strips, exterior mirror caps all wrapped in carbon fiber, black kidney and a special exhaust system with tailpipes in carbon fiber or chrome as well.

More than that, there is also the M Performance Power Kit available for both the Convertible as well as for the Coupe.

In the near future, other parts will be available for the 4-Series Convertible, like carbon front splitter, rear diffuser as well as rear spoiler.

Inside the 4-Series Convertible, the sports cat is also tweaked with carbon fiber components, Alcantara leather on the seats, as well as the M Performance Steering wheel with the Race Display.

After the BMW 2-Series Coupe was unveiled a few months ago, as the successor of the 1-Series Coupe, the forthcoming BMW 2-Series Cabrio was caught on camera while undergoing some tests, without the sportscar wearing some camouflage.

The BMW 2-Series Cabrio is going to successfully carry on with the legacy of the 1-Series, the Cabrio version of course, since it is announced to be sportier and tweak more high-tech gear.

The BMW 2-Series will still receive the engine lineup as well as the high-tech equipment from the hatchback version, being rumored though to come only with the 2.0-liter gasoline unit, developing 150 horsepower, 177 horsepower, while the turbocharged diesel will receive more throttle, which is around 214 HP.

The engine lineup of the upcoming BMW 2-Series will be hooked to the conventional 6-speed manual or to the optional and more performance 8-speed automatic.

The BMW 2-Series is also said to come with an all-wheel drive system xDrive. The good news however, is that the sporty vehicle will be publicly displayed this summer.

The long-awaited BMW 2-Series Cabrio might hit the dealership sooner than expected since it was caught on camera in some light camouflage by photographers from Inautonews publication.

It was definitely a logical step to follow the footsteps of the Coupe version, when photos with the 2-Series Cabrio first appeared, and now spied shots reveal the same features it will sport, taken from its Coupe sibling.

As seen in the shots, the BMW 2-Series Cabrio will come with some slight modifications around the camouflaged areas, such as at the front fascia, at the rear end, or around the taillights and the headlights.

As far as the interior concerns, we might be talking about the same one found on the 2-Series Coupe.

Don’t expect that the engine lineup or the technologies and performances of the 2-Series Cabrio to be different than the ones fond on the Coupe.

Why spoil something that has already proven its efficiency? Thus, we might be talking about four-cylinder units like the 2.0-liter gasoline, developing 150 horsepower, 177 horses and also 218 ponies.

More than that, the BMW 2-Series Cabrio will also come equipped with a turbocharged diesel unit that outputs 214 horsepower.

Expect a six-speed manual transmission with an optional eight-speed automatic system on all units, along with the all-wheel drive system seen on the xDrive.

After BMW i3 electric receiving its Samsung Galaxy BMW i3 at the CES 2014, the high-tech system that allows you to know about the car`s functionality through a wrist watch developed by Samsung, BMW has come up with another prototype system.

BMW, as well as Audi, have unveiled the latest high-tech driverless car technology with some demonstration drives in Nevada, one of the few states that allow car manufacturers conduct driving tests.

In this case, BMW added a highly active assist technology to a modified 2 Series Coupe. When the car slides, it automatically enters into controlled drift, to demonstrate the precision of the control systems and how they can handle in dangerous situations.

Dr. Werner Huber, the project manager driver from BMW stated that when driving with the new system, “it is like the best drive you have”.

In small and exact amounts, the car uses its steering, breaking and also throttle to gain control over the acceleration, deceleration and direction.

The systems also involves sensors, environmental modeling and driving strategy technologies which the luxury car manufacturer has been working on for some time. More will be found out at the upcoming 2014 Detroit Auto Show.

Over the past months, information about the BMW 2 Series has slowly trickled unto the internet, and the car that is taking shape has plenty promise.

With the official unveiling at the Detroit Auto Show next month, the Bavarian car maker let slip one more piece of the puzzle.

It seems that the BMW 2 Series Coupe, the model that is set to replace the 1 Series Coupe, will cost a bit more than the 1er. A comparison between the base models of each reveals that the BMW 228i is $33.025, some $1.500 more that the 1 Series. At the top end, namely the 235i, there is only a $500 difference compared to the 135i.

While the BMW 2 Series Coupe will certainly be a nice exhibit at the Detroit Auto Show, it is not the biggest attraction there. Not even for BMW, since they are planning to bring the M3 and M4, a couple of vehicles much more coveted. As for an M variant of the 2 Series, we have yet to hear anything, so, for now at least, we’ll have to make due with the M Performance parts.

It seems that BMW is on a roll with intriguing and/or funny videos, and most of them seem to revolve around the brand new models they are bringing to the lineup.

With the i3 almost on the road and the i8 and 4 Series not far behind, BMW is finally focusing more on the 2 Series Coupe.

As far as video clips go, the German car maker already released several of them for the aforementioned models, but the 2 Series has been kept under wraps rather neatly. We don’t even have more than two batches of spy photos of it. The more recent media released by BMW gives us a glimpse of the 2 Series Coupe.

With the intent of teasing its imminent unveiling, we can only see a bit of the car in the video, with sun shafts ruining any possibility of discerning details. Still, with just 5 more days to go until the manufacturer finally lets us see the vehicle, the stage is set and enthusiasts are locked in for October 25th. Watch the video just below.
