The BMW fanatics at F30post.com have decided to keep their impatient hearts beating by sketching up some renderings of what the next generation BMW M3 and M4 could look.

Obviously, the F30 fan site wouldn’t spend too much time being too nostalgic about the E9x versions of the M3 and just went on ahead to produce what they think the future holds.

Surprisingly, though we do not expect any drastic styling cues to happen in comparison to the front end and profile of the F30 3 Series, the M3 and M4 rendering images turned out to be quite impressive.

There are no real surprises with the sedan variant but boy did they go to town on the Coupe. With the M4 body shape, the car looks more rakish.

Not only that, the lowered ride height and the extra aggressively designed aerodynamic body kit seem a little overkill. It looks great this way but BMW will almost certainly not make the car this impractical.

The added aggression seems to have pumped up the sedan as well but not to a similarly impractical state. Even here there’s something that will almost certainly not make it into the final product.

The carbon roof, even if the panel will be made out of the lightweight material, BMW will certainly paint it and hide the weave from prying eyes.

After all, though the coupe version can be a little childish and playful, the F30 M3 Sedan still needs to be a little more grown up and restrained.

The F30 BMW M3, or F80 according to some sources, has managed to set itself in the minds of a few fairly capable designers again.

It seems that the spyshot sessions of a month and a half ago are still fresh with certain graphic designers since they came up with some new renders.

No variation on shapes and angles but hey, the colors are different at least. Who ever thought them up had the good idea of repainting either of the “models” “on the lot.”

The artists have worked with the sedan variation of the M3. This is just as well, since the two door option is expected to get rebranded and wear a different chassis series.

The recipe followed to create these particular renders is quite simple. Take the standard F30 BMW 3 Series, add some aggression to the body kit, new mirrors and a few extra creases and you’re there.

Most of those who’ve seen these renders consider them a little to simplistic. There’s no evidence of a lowered suspension, the revised aero package seems to be too limiting and so do the frames.

As far as what’s going on under the bonnet is concerned, the BMW M3 is planing no novelty from what we’ve come to expect.

The six cylinder twin-turbo (or tri-turbo) engine under the bonnet is expected to develop some 450 horsepower and a great deal of torque to go with it as well.

This engine is expected to be created from a simplified version of the V8 powerplant in the F10 BMW M5 to which new timing and induction is added.

Since most of us don’t live in a tropical paradise, surely by now you’ve had some encounters with the harsh and cold winter that keeps going on.

Despite this, BMW’s M division feels like there’s some playing around to be done. To begin with they’ve unveiled what can only be described as the coolest BMW M5 badge ever.

On top of the joke situation there’s plenty of other cool stuff floating around that’s indirectly linked to the work of the BMW M division.

Firstly, the gorgeous BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe will receive an M version. We’re not talking about an M Sport package but an actual performance division model.

Some rather low quality spyshots have been nabbed of the new M Gran Coupe model and, as you’d imagine, there’s plenty of camouflage going on.

For those of a higher disposition towards quality, we now have some renderings of what this new model could look like courtesy of PS-Garage.

They’ve come up with only one special image but it has all the goodies visible. The BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe M leaves the distinguished grown up look in the dust.

Instead, a more aggressive M Style body kit is applied and the vents at the front are now large enough to swallow up unattended babies.

The wheels and brakes indicate the borrowed drivetrain form F10 BMW M5 and complete the new look this sort of vehicle would showoff.

Otherwise, BMW’s M division has plenty of stuff on its table yet will not utter a single word on it right now.

Those of you who are already bored of the BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe may want to grab a look at these new renders from the “automotive manipulator” Theophilus Chin.

We already know that it wasn’t BMW’s idea to come up with a four door coupe so we might as well embrace the idea that the Bavarians will end up looking for other inspiration sources on the followup.

Since the CLS estate shooting break has been confirmed, why not see a future with a BMW 6 Series estate Gran Touring?

The renders are actually a lot better than I would have expected so kudos to their creator. The idea of a BMW 6 Series station wagon doesn’t really seem that appealing and the new look makes it even less so.

Even though the Mercedes CLS Shooting Break has a better looking rear end than the 6 Series Gran Touring render, it’s not exactly at the top of the desirability list. How will BMW make it work?

That is, if anybody at BMW even grants a second look to these renders, let alone start compiling a business case for it. Honestly, I don’t see the BMW 6 Series Gran Touring happen.

Perhaps the Germans can make it look better than the renders but it will certainly loose the key selling point of the whole lineup, the coupe looks.

No matter how many doors it has, how much space in the back it can offer and such, as long as it’s doesn’t at least resemble the general lines of a coupe, the BMW 6 Series Gran Touring will be a struggling product.

BMW concepts always incite the mind, BMW renders almost do better. To this respect the latest render to come from Russian designer Krasnov Igor.

This time, Igor unleashed his creativity on our favorite manufacturer’s coupe, more importantly a very extravagant BMW supercar. While you might not see a way for extravagance to fit BMW’s design, this might work.

It’s pretty damn gorgeous but I’ll keep that opinion of mine to myself as much as possible and try to see a pretty open minded look on it. I will admit to the lines that are a result of bold design such as a Russian mentality would come up aren’t what most people would like to see on their Bavarian creation but that being said it does borrow some of the asymmetry from the BMW X Coupe.

Other influences come from the BMW Gina Concept and as a real base can be found from the BMW 328. The car in itself is a roadster that would find a weird use in BMW’s lineup.

This wouldn’t be a competitor for nothing other than the Bentley Arnage convertible as opposed to the Continental GT because of the massive bulk it inspires.

Then again I could be wrong and this render should never leave the digital world.

BMW’s most recent launch at Beijing, the Gran Coupe Concept is a great looking four door saloon, which may be going to jump at the Mercedes CLS market.

While this car has seen a lot of enthusiasm there are quite a few people considering that this is happening a bit late.

So it’s a new comer to market that’s been opened quite a long time ago but that’s not the full story, since BMW fans consider this to be late, they think that the lines featured on it may still have some great use. A few bored enthusiast that know their way around photographic and rendering software have created something very special.

This creation is a new take on a very loved BMW, the 6 Series.You can see the photo and general BMW 6 Series fan consensus is that this should go back to Munich to become a poster in the design studio there. If the next BMW 6 Series will look like this which let’s be honest, it’s not impossible.

Basically what BMW need to do is to take the BMW Gran Coupe Concept, take off a couple of doors, redo the lower part of the bumper to remove those awful looking LED fog lights to get something nice, simple and fluent with lighting that is as discrete as possible, that should be enough to highlight the amazing wheels.

So BMW, willing to listen and make us a 6 Series that actually gets bought for looks?
