BMW is definitely proud to have built the BMW X5, which is considered one of the best SUVs built in the entire world, standing side-by-side with the X6 model. And BMW is also proud to have witnessed a real aftermarket transformation for the X5, the SUV receiving some cool set of wheels and a few body style tweaks.

The F15 BMW X5 all wrapped in the Alpine White exterior finish, has been fitted with a set of one-off wheels from Vossen Wheels tuning division, but the installation was carried out by the guys from Exclusive Motoring aftermarket shop. We are talking about the Vossen VFS2 wheels, which comes win sizes of 20- and 22 inches, front and rear.

The Vossen VFS2 wheels are finished in a gold and matte graphite color, being built with the flow forming process, providing thus the X5 with an exquisite design and strengthening the forged-like rim barrel, thanks to the aluminum grain-structure.

Apart from the Vossen wheels being fitted under the hood, there were no upgrades carried out under the hood or the body style, the model keeping the evolutionary design lines and exquisite interior, with high-end materials, the LED screen, the sports seats and steering wheel, which combined, provides the X5 with a sporty design. Have you noticed the trend today concerning different upgrading programs for different BMW models? If you kinda followed this meticulous process, the tuning companies were first encouraged to upgrade the gorgeous BMW M3 and BMW M4 and after, a lot more BMWs started to enter their gates.

Using M Performance Parts on your BMW is the way to go if you want a bump in power and looks without waiting for an fully M variant or outsourcing.

While not quite as potent as outside aftermarket specialists, the M Performance Parts deliver quality upgrades for any takers.

The latest announcement from BMW involves the M Performance Parts for the 2015 F15 BMW X5, and it details the options offered and the prices attached to each item. Power wise, BMW offers the Performance Power Kit, which will take the 3.0 liter turbocharged engine on the xDrive35i to 320 Hp and 450 Nm of torque. It will also bear the price of $1.350.

Going for more, you can purchase a new exhaust system with $1.250, while new brake calipers will set you back $3.500. For $350 you get carbon fiber mirror cases and for $300 you can buy a rear spoiler lip. The M Performance front splitter costs $1.500, while the rear diffuser will bring in $1.350. The biggest price of all is worn by the optional new wheels, which will set you back $5.400.

The BMW Abu Dhabi Motors dealership, the same one who showcased the tweaked M135i and 335i gets yet again in our attention. This time, they fitted the M Performance kit on the F15 BMW X5, making it an unique model.

At the exterior, the German SUV gets revised bumpers, side skirts, large air intakes, a revised grille and a rear air diffuser.

All of these parts as well as the side mirror caps are made of lightweight carbon fiber. Under the bonnet sits a 4.4-liter V8 producing 450 horsepower and 650 Nm of torque for a 0-100 km/h sprint in 4,9 seconds.

There’s also an eight-speed automatic gearbox and the company’s xDrive system. Average fuel economy figures are rated at 22,4 mpg US or 10,4 liters/100 km with CO2 emissions of 242 g/km.

A couple of months ago, BMW presented us with a working demo of what was then supposed to be their next safety feature that will allow drivers to get home safely even in the darkest nights.

Consisting of a front mounted thermal camera and a bunch of other sensors, the feature allows not just to outline objects and trees based on differences of temperature, but also to recognize potential dangerous situations, by detecting animals or pedestrians.

As with many safety features, some drivers might think that they are useless, or a mere gimmick that can be rendered obsolete by simply driving carefully. After all, such a feature will cost a pretty dollar.

So why not test drive the features, which comes on the new F15 BMW X5, and see exactly how well it fares? To this end, World’s Fastest Car Show grabbed one X5, completely obscured the windshield and set out on the streets of Los Angeles. The end result of that journey can be seen in the video just below, and I, for one, am impressed.

AC Schnitzer decided to give us more information on their tuning kit for the F15 BMW X5.

The new-generation of the German SUV gets a series of styling tweaks such as revised bumpers, new 20- to 22-inch alloy wheels, new exhaust system and revised side mirror caps.

Under the bonnet, there are a series of improvements with the most potent variant, the x50i, producing 525 horsepower. Inside, buyers will get aluminum pedals, a special key holder and new floor mats.

AC Schnitzer’s BMW X5 also rides on a sports suspension capable to lower the ground clearance by 30mm (front) and 20mm (rear). More details on AC Schnitzer’s package for the new BMW X5 will be released at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show.

You will also be able to see the new model live at the long-awaited auto show which opens its gates this month.

BMW, the German luxury car manufacturer, is launching a new campaign in Romania, for the promotion of its 2014 X5.

The next-generation of the X5, which had an official launch last year in May, is now again in the spot lights with its new video promotional video and promotional shots.

The campaign is settle for Romania, since the country well received this wonderful SAV, as Romanians are generally crazy about BMWs.

We should also remind the X5`s specs and features, promoting thus the car in Romania one more time through this article.

The 2014 BMW X5 sports a great 4.4-liter V8 engine, for the xDrive50i, developing a massive 450 horsepower (330kW) and also 650 Nm (479 lb-ft) of torque. The sprint from 0 to 60 km/h is done is 5.0 seconds, the SAV having a top speed of 250 km/h for this version.

As for the xDrive30d, the vehicle got a 3.3-liter TwinPower Turbo six-cylinder engine with 258 horsepower (190 kW) and 560 Nm (413 lb-ft) of torque.

The latest version X5 M50d is powered by a 3.0-liter six-cylinder tri-turbo diesel and 381 horsepower with 280 kW and 740 Nm (546 lb-ft) of torque.

Today’s cars have a plethora of tech incorporated into them, ranging from driving assistants to comfort features and even some vanity tech.

And it has been several years since this huge amount of features have been used on premium cars.

BMW, being one the the premium car making giants, is up to date with pretty much every piece of tech on its cars. Problem is that with so many features, it is quite hard to get accustomed to most of it. And since each manufacturer adopts a different style to tackle this problem, newcomers to BMW might struggle even more.

Still, far be it from BMW to let you struggle in vain. On the latest iteration of their F15 BMW X5 they installed a button that makes it easy to control the basic safety features installed, like the Frontal Collision Warning, Pedestrian Warning, Lane Departure Warning and Active Blindspot Detection. It is all done with a simple button.

BMW has some great news coming from their plant in Spartanburg, S.C., USA. With the start of the new month so did the official production of the third generation X5.

Ever since 1999 and the first BMW X5 going off the assembly line, the Spartanburg plant managed to produce somewhere around 1.3 million units, and with the new generation here, that number is sure to grow.

There are some key features that distinguish the F15 BMW X5 from its predecessor. Apart from the obvious new styling, the F15 X5 will also get the choice of three engines from the get-go.

It also increase the efficiency with which it burns fuel, mostly thanks to features like Auto Start Stop function, ECO PRO mode including coasting function and Proactive Driving Assistant.

Something exclusive to the F15 BMW X5 is BMW’s own Active Steering, which brings boons to ride smoothness and handling. And for all the technological advancements, the X5 will also pass the Eu6 rating.

The first F15 BMW X5 unit to roll out the assembly line is a Mineral White M50d with a full Nappa Mocha leather interior.

It’s been a week since the German carmaker unveiled the BMW X5 M Sport and today we get the first shots with the new SUV wearing the M Sport clothes.

Based on the all-new F15 X5, the M Sport model comes with a series of styling tweaks able to make the third-generation X5 even more appealing.

These shots were taken by a car enthusiast somewhere in Georgia, as you can tell by taking a closer look at the model’s license number.

We’ve already seen the model in the official images released by BMW but seeing it on the street let us get a much better idea on the model’s exterior appearance.

Compared to the stock model, the BMW X5 M Sport comes with revised front and rear bumpers, new side skirts, 19-inch M-Double Spoke alloy wheels and Shadowline trim. At the interior, buyers will benefit from revised sport seats, new trim, anthracite headliner, a revised steering wheel and alloy pedals.
