The spy business is a productive one in China, apparently. And the auto industry is no exception.

With more and more spy photos leaked from the Asian country, it is now time to see what BMW has planned for the new F10 5-Series’ interior.

From the latest batch of spy shots, we can see a slightly different interior. We can make out the iDrive knob with its new Touch Controller or the M Sport steering wheel. A multi-touch touchpad allows you to enter characters, navigate maps or websites and even zoom in on them. Not sure how safe that is, providing quite a distraction for the driver, but it is cool.

It has been a while since we last saw nifty shots of the exterior design with modified headlights, bumpers or the fog light. Starting production this summer, in July, the new BMW 5-Series F10 will also sport different exhaust system and wheels.

Until more photos get out there (maybe even some official ones) we will have to be patient and see how it goes.

No doubt that the new BMW 5 Series F10 is one of the most popular sedans in the market and the new ad revealed these days highlights the fuel efficiency of the German model. Called “Refuel”, the new commercial directed by the Grey West advertising agency features of course the new 5 Series but also a Boeing KC-135 Stratotanker.

From the beginning we are told that the 30-second commercial is a CGI one, something really expectable as this kind of scenario is quite hard to be done without any problem.

Judging by the ad’s name and the first seconds, we would have thought that the German model will be refueled by the plane at high speeds but this would not have been that interesting. Instead, the commercial suggests that it’s more likely you to need a refuel before the tank empties, mainly due to the improved fuel consumption of 32 mpg (7,3 liters/100 km).

Asking me, this is a quite interesting idea and even if there is just a sentence spoken, the commercial manages to emphasize the innovative technology of the German premium sedan

BMWUSA released a new video starring the new generation BMW 5 Series but also its interior designer Oliver Heilmer, the man who thought the interior appearance of the model in question. More exactly, we talk about the interior design of the new 5 Series F10 which is influenced by the movement but also his passion for vintage watches could have been influenced the cabin.

Oliver Heilmer claims that the new 5 Series wants to be both an elegant and business sedan but also a sporty model that inspires aggressiveness.

The BMW designed explains that few components such as the center console were very challenging requiring a big amount of time to achieve the perfect result. He also tells us how important are the lighting and proportions in designing a model but also using curved lines will get a better look.

The Germans from AC Schnitzer are well-known for their dedication to models within BMW’s range, thus, they managed to create a tuning kit called ACS5 Sport S for the latest 5 Series generation, known as F10. The BMW 5 Series get a better appearance but also improved performance while the fuel consumption and CO2 emissions seem to remain at the same level.

For now the details are limited but the Geneva Motor Show it’s just around the corner, full details following to be revealed within the long-awaited European Auto Show.

AC Schnitzer opted to work on the 550i version, under the bonnet being available the 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 able to develop now 540hp and 750 Nm of torque, extra 133hp being squeezed by the German tuners comparing to the standard model developing 407hp.

The top speed of the new BMW 550i ACS5 Sport S model is 320 km/h while the acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is achieved in 4,5 seconds. These are the main technical improvements while at the exterior a new body paint is available together with other revised parts, as we can see in the official photos.

The current BMW 5 Series F10 generation receives few improvements through which the German model gets more horsepower under the hood but also an improved appearance. All these changes are made by the people at Kelleners Sport which managed to upgrade the six-cylinder engine found on the BMW’s 535i version in order to develop 367 horsepower, thus, extra 61 horses were squeezed.

The torque amount was also increased, the tuning package bringing extra 80 Nm of torque. The engine upgrades were achieved mainly due to a revised ECU unit and a new high performance sports exhaust system.

The aesthetic package develop for the BMW 5 Series F10 brings new 19 or 20-inch alloy wheels, a modified front bumper integrating LED lights, a back air diffuser and a new set of side sills. The Kelleners’ BMW 535i F10 got also a four-pipe exhaust system while the ground clearance was lowered by 30mm. The tuning kit prepared for the German model is scheduled to debut at the Essen Motor Show.

You can’t claim that the Germans from AC Schnitzer are unknown when it comes to tuning BMW models, thus, they prepared a new tuning kit for the 2011 BMW 5 Series F10. The tuning kit comes with an additional horsepower amount for the 530d version, aesthetic touches and improved handling.

Starting with the performance improvements, because in my opinion this is the start point when creating a tuning kit, the German tuner managed through ECU recalibration and a new evacuation system to increase the 530d’s hp amount by 41 horsepower reaching 286 horsepower.

The German tuner announced that the handling is better now thanks to new suspensions and a lowered ground clearance by 25 mm. The aesthetic improvements for the 5 Series F10 include a new front spoiler (you can’t miss it) with large air intakes, a chromed grille, a spoiler for the trunk and a set of side sills.

19 to 20-inch rims are available and the interior comes with carbon fiber elements found also on the new sports steering wheel. Here’s the first tuning kit for the new 5 Series F10 created by AC Schnitzer.

German tuners at Lumma Design together with the TopCar Russian tuners managed to create another tuning kit for the German model BMW 5 Series F10. The tuners mounted a carbon fiber hood, new side sills, a front bumper with air intakes and LED lights, a new set of rims, a rear bumper integrating an air diffuser and a spoiler mounted on the trunk.

The taillights, the windows and the windscreen received a black tint completing the exterior visual improvements brought to the German model. Under the hood, the 5 Series F10 received the 3.0-liter Twin Turbo 535i-based engine managing to deliver a total of 380 horsepower.

Talking about the interior improvements, the tuners prepared for the German sedan a leather steering wheel, the dashboard and the seats benefiting also from leather. The tuning kit is called CLR 500 RS2 and comes with a price tag of 136.933 euro, this price including the standard model together with the tuning kit developed by Lumma Design and TopCar.

The Bavarian model from BMW received an aesthetic tuning kit from the 3D Design tuners.BMW 5 Series F10 received a redesigned front and rear spoiler along with some air intakes and a spoiler for the trunk. The aesthetic kit comes also with special 20-inch forged wheels painted silver.

The 535 and 550 version from BMW will benefit from a sports exhaust system with a total of four pipes. No side skirts were included in the Japanese tuning kit. A wing was mounted on the rear part of the roof.

This is not the first tuning kit made specially for the BMW 5 Series F10, people at Hamann created the first tuning kit for the new generation BMW 5 Series, codenamed F10. We can expect in the future another tuners to develop tuning kits for the Bavarian model, but until then, we can enjoy the exclusive masterpieces created by one of the best tuning houses in the automotive world.

We talked recently about the BMW 5 Series F10 Sedan that received the M Package and we promised you more details on this subject. We can remember from that article that the M Package will be available starting October, at Paris Auto Show.

BMW has launched a new type of ornament, which has a hexagonal pattern and imitate aluminum. This type of decoration is standard on all 5 Series models equipped with the M Sport package, with the exception of 550i.

M Package for BMW 5 Series F10 Sedan comes with two options on wheels. The 18-inch wheels have the 350m code, while the larger wheels, 19 inch, have the 351M code. Both models offer an interesting design, although each one is reminiscent of a rim model found on the previous generation 5 Series that has been “modernized”. The price for the BMW 5 Series M Sport Package has not been announced yet.

M Sport Package for BMW 5 Series F10 Sedan has been compromised by the Americans from 5Post. It will be available from October, after it will begin at the Paris Motor Show.

First images with the M Sport package for the sedan version of the BMW 5 Series F10 on the internet before the official launch of this optional package. The package contains a new front bumper, a rear bumper with an integrated diffuser, a set of side skirts and two types of optional wheels. The trim of the exhaust pipes are painted in a dark shade of chrome. The trunk lid received a discreet rear spoiler painted in the body tone, which is very likely to be the carbon element offered for E92 M3. The interior of the sedan received also few changes.
