AC Schnitzer improvements for the 2011 BMW 5 Series F10

You can’t claim that the Germans from AC Schnitzer are unknown when it comes to tuning BMW models, thus, they prepared a new tuning kit for the 2011 BMW 5 Series F10. The tuning kit comes with an additional horsepower amount for the 530d version, aesthetic touches and improved handling.

Starting with the performance improvements, because in my opinion this is the start point when creating a tuning kit, the German tuner managed through ECU recalibration and a new evacuation system to increase the 530d’s hp amount by 41 horsepower reaching 286 horsepower.

The German tuner announced that the handling is better now thanks to new suspensions and a lowered ground clearance by 25 mm. The aesthetic improvements for the 5 Series F10 include a new front spoiler (you can’t miss it) with large air intakes, a chromed grille, a spoiler for the trunk and a set of side sills.

19 to 20-inch rims are available and the interior comes with carbon fiber elements found also on the new sports steering wheel. Here’s the first tuning kit for the new 5 Series F10 created by AC Schnitzer.
