The BMW i4 is under its testing phase, which means a lot of spy shots have been circulating the internet trying to make sense of the upcoming design. The latest photos have revealed a lot more than before, including details of the front-grille design.

The front-end is partially visible, and although it is still covered by camouflage material, a lot more can be said about the grille’s shape and size. The BMW i4 will have the same signature kidney-grille as before with practically the same size as in the earlier models.

The headlights are also clearly visible for the first time revealing a c-shaped design. The LED daytime lights and the two projector-beam combo has been the go-to for BMW in the recent past and the i4 follows the same pattern.

Unsurprisingly, the rear of the vehicle also shows more than it did earlier. The taillights, for example, can be seen more clearly and we can decipher their near-final shape. Since the camouflage panels have started coming off, we can say for sure that the BMW i4’s release is not that far away.

The prototype vehicle is in its final stages of testing and once that is complete, BMW will reveal the I4 in its final form. It is expected to be released by late 2021 so expect a full unveiling by the Spring/Summer of 2021.

The BMW i4 is touted to be more powerful than some of BMW’s performance cars like the M3 and M4. The i4 will produce 530 hp at its peak, which will allow it to go from 0 to 60 mph in a brisk 4 seconds or less. The whopping performance figures are possible thanks to the single motor setup and BMW’s intuitive drag-reduction aerodynamic technology.

BMW has been tight-lipped on the price of the i4, but expect it to be around $70,000 for the base variant.

Following a series of spy photos which revealed the upcoming BMW Z4 fully camouflaged while performing different testing sessions, a couple of new updates have emerged on the surface, showcasing the future convertible model at BMW`s testing facility in Miramas, France, performing what appears to be the final tests, just before heading for production line in a couple of months.

Autodrome de Miramas in the south of France is the company`s second largest well-known centre after Nurburgring where some of the finest prototypes are being put to the ultimate tests rides before reciving the go ahead for production. It offers the perfect conditions to test out the prototypes` driving capabilities, power and much more.

Speaking of the test mule`s final tests on the Autodrome de Miramas, Jos van As, Director of Application Suspension, also stated:

“The vehicle concept of the new BMW Z4 is geared consistently towards agility and driving dynamics. The high level of body stiffness and the very rigid suspension attachment provide the perfect basis for a set-up that guarantees the performance qualities of a genuine sports car in terms of steering precision as well as longitudinal and transverse acceleration.”

Reportedly heading for an official European unveiling at the 2018 Paris Motor Show this September and heading towards markets worldwide at the beginning of 2019, the new BMW Z4 in its top variant M40i, will come with an evolutionary design language, with lines borrowed from the concept unveiled some while ago at the Pebble Beach.

The car`s muscular and aggressive body style is also given by the plethora of M goodies. We should find as well the M lightweight alloy wheels, lowered sports suspension system with electronically controlled dampers, M sport braking system or electronically controlled lock for the rear axle differential.

In the engine department, the all-new 2019 BMW Z4 M40i is likely to feature a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline six-cylinder engine. It is well-known that BMW decided to seize production of the current generation M3 starting this June, due to the new WLTP regulations; however the carmaker has already started testing out the upcoming M3 on the Ring, with the model eventually debuting next year at the Frankfurt Motor Show.

The famous Nurbrugring track is quite busy these days, with a lot of test mules carrying out different tests. The new 2020 BMW M3 is one of them and wraps heavy white and black camouflage all around, which means that it is in its early testing stage.

As we can depict from the spy photos, the 2020MY looks almost completely different than the current generation, bigger and wider and sporting a more aggressive design. Surely, we can observe the aggressive front fascia with now honeycomb inserts on the lower air intake. At the rear end, the test mule is wearing a four-tailpipe exhaust system and smaller spoiler for advanced aerodynamics.

Overall, the prototype features sportier suspension which reduces its ride height, while the lightweight wheels cover-up what seems to be high-performance brakes with cross-drilled discs that are glowing from their heavy usage on the track. Also, being wider, the wheel arches seem to be extended, while the side skirts are now looking more aggressive.

The car`s interior looks pretty much standard; however, it will definitely be improved with new high-tech gizmos, like new digital instrument cluster as well as the company`s up-to-date iDrive infotainment system.

As for powertrains under the hood, the new 2020 BMW M3 is likely to keep the same 3.0-liter twin-turbo inline six-cylinder engine, but with higher output than the current 425 horsepower and 550 Nm of torque. Rumors have it that it could have around 465 horsepower or even more. Performance will also be improved, thanks to the CLAR platform, which uses lightweight composites like carbon fiber or aluminum.

BMW has been testing out the future X7 for quite some time, with the model quickly loosing its heavy camouflage and revealing the gorgeous production design language.

New spy photos come from carscoops auto magazine and highlight the X7 in a new series of tests, this time the test mule wearing less camo, which means that it is close to its final guise.

Presuming debuting at the 2018 Los Angeles Auto Show, this November, the all-new 2019 BMW X7 will become the carmaker`s most impressive SUV, way too impressive than the current X6. It will retain however the company`s familiar design.

This means that it will come the awesome front fascia and incredibly massive twin-kidney grille, making it extremely imposing. BMW will also build the model with the M Sport package, as the below test mule is wearing in the tests. With the M Sport pack, the new X7 will adopt a sportier attitude, thanks to the aggressive front and rear bumpers.

Around the back, the X7 will borrow some styling cues from the X7 iPerformance concept previewed a couple of weeks ago. We should thus expect a revised roof rack and traditional side mirrors and door handles. The concept`s vertical rear vents will also be present at the rear end and will come handy with the slender taillights and tailgate-mounted spoiler. There will also be chrome dual-exhaust tips for improved engine growl and more aggressive looks.

Built in Spartanburg, South California, the 2019 BMW X7 SUV will come with an array of engines. Recent reports detail at least a 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo six cylinder engine with around 335 horsepower, while the higher 4.4-liter V8 with the same TwinPower Turbo technology would make it even more powerful – 445 HP.

BMW is likely to offer the new X7 with a plug-in hybrid variant as well, while an M Performance model or an X7 M might also be in the works. Stay tuned for more details in the upcoming period!

While the upcoming BMW M140 from the 1-Series is still getting its hard testing on the Ring, other test mules like the new X5 SUV and the long-awaited BMW 8-Series Coupe were seen spotted for some road tests in Slovenia.

Thesd are not the first spy photos with the two models, but it is definitely a premiere seeing them cruising together and still wearing heavy camouflage. That means that both of them are still faraway from their official unveiling next year.

Just as expected, both new models will be sharing the same CLAR modular architecture, also underpinning the new 5-Series and 7-Series, meaning more lightweight materials and a wide range of engines underneath their skin. The same platform will also allow for a Convertible and a hardcore M8 variant in the 8-Series.

Following latest spy shots in Copenhagen this spring, the all-new BMW X5 is back into the spotlights with its final shape. It looks refreshed with the much larger kidney grilles, more accentuated shark nose and smaller taillights.

Inside, the cabin is also likely to borrow the technological suite from the new 5-Series, while in the engine department we will see a wide range of petrol burners and diesels. Thanks to the same CLAR platform, the new X5 SUV will also shed off around 300 kg, improving the car`s handling characteristics and fuel economy.

As for the upcoming 8-Series, the model will take its design language from the 8-Series Concept, but the heavy camouflage won`t reveal its final shape; at least not just yet. Inside, the cabin of the 8-Series test mule is also likely to borrow the Concept`s technological goodies and design. Thus, we expect to see at least the same gauge cluster or button configuration.

As for the future M8, the top range model is set to “be built on the genes of the 8-Series and augment its DNA with added track ability and generous extra portions of dynamic sharpness, precision and agility,” as BMW M chief Frank van Meel, once declared. The engine lineup technical details for the new 8-Series and M8 remain hidden at the moment.

German based carmaker BMW is currently testing out new models near Nurburgring, in Germany, including the recently spied 1-Series, set to arrive next year as a 2019 MY.

The new 1-Series will be totally different than the current generation, as it will make the transition to the UKL platform, meaning a front-wheel drive layout – also underpinning the new X1, MINI Cooper S and the 2-Series Active Tourer – more lightweight materials, increased space inside the cabin and a suite of engines under the hood.

Following previous spy shots released back in June, the new ones released on wilcoblock Instagram page reveal the car`s production body style. This means that the car is going to be bigger and tweaked with new design elements.

The new design elements refer to updated panels, upright grille layout for the front end, drawn-back headlights, revised rear end and larger wheels. Other new tweaks include fully-independent rear suspension setup and differential at the rear.

Speaking of the new UKL platform, this means more lightweight materials, also underpinning the new MINI Cooper S and X1 in the United Kingdom. It also automatically leads to increased space inside and better driving dynamics. The good news is that besides the front-wheel drive configuration, the all-new 2019 BMW 1-Series is also set to arrive with an all-wheel drive system, which will equip the higher-performance variants.

Performance wise, the 2019 BMW 1-Series is likely to adopt a completely new four-cylinder engine lineup. However, according to new reports, the model would also come with three-cylinder mills. Among the most important ones we could mention a 2.0-liter turbo, with around 250 kW; equipped with an all-drive configuration, this variant would come with a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.6 seconds.

Following recent spy photos with the new 2019 BMW X4 SUV while undergoing tests near Spartanburg factory, the German based carmaker has already taken the upcoming X4 M out for a spin, putting the final pieces before its official launch at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show (presuming).

Just like the standard X4, the M hardcore variant comes with the same design language, yet adding some M tweaks that makes it more aggressive and standout.

The M signature is present on the much more aggressive bumpers and rear lip spoiler, adding as well wider air inlets for better air flow, quad exhaust tips for a wilder engine soundtrack, and of course, the M wider alloy wheels.

Just like other new SUV models, the future 2019 BMW X4 M also stands on the company`s new CLAR architecture, meaning that it sheds off around 60 kg, thanks to the additional of lightweight materials. This also leads to increase performance and better fuel consumption.

Performance wise, the all-new 2018 BMW X4 M makes use of a 3.0-liter twin-turbo inline six-cylinder engine, also known as S58, and believed to churn out around 450 horsepower. And if BMW doesn’t find a away to increase the SUV`s power and torque, it won`t be a match for its direct competitor, the all-new Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe, which is definitely way too powerful.

On the other hand, the standard 2019 BMW X4 SUV is powered by a wide range of petrol burners and diesels, including the 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo six-cylinder with 365 PS and 500 Nm of torque, or the 2.0-liter flat-four with 190 PS and 400 Nm of torque. A 3.0-liter six mill with 265 horsepower and 620 Nm of torque will also join the diesel club.

Following a series of spy shots a couple of days ago, the all-new 2019 BMW X4 is back into the spotlights in a new batch of photos released by CarScoops magazine, just outside the company`s plant in Spartanburg, South Carolina.

The new spy photos reveal a completely new X4 crossover, now more massive and more aggressive, thanks to the redesigned body style.

We already know that the carmaker`s new philosophy is building bigger and bigger models, and the 2019 X4 is no exception. It stands on the new CLAR architecture, also underpinning other high-end models like the upcoming X3, which means more lightweight materials that would shed off significant weight – 121 lbs in the case of the X4.

Visually, the model is enhanced with horizontal LED lights, a more aggressive front bumper with wider air intakes which now come with metallic accents. Other features up front also refer to the revised grille and modern headlights.

At the rear, the new X4 features slimmer taillights and sportier roofline. The entire design is complemented by the new wheels, much wider and providing better stance and grip.

Inside, even if there aren`t any spy photos to reveal the details, we should be able to find the same high-tech gizmos also implemented on the new X3 or 5-Series. Future info will be released at a later date.

Under the hood, the 2019 BMW X4 is likely to carry over the same lineup from the X3, including a wide range of petrol burners and diesels. We should mention here the petrol 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo six-cylinder with 260 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque, or the 2.0-liter flat-four diesel with 190 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque. According to the carmaker, a top of the line X4 M with 400 horsepower is also set to arrive later on.

There is no longer a secret that BMW is preparing the arrival of the most impressive SUV it will ever built, which is the long-awaited X7, but it was just until recent we grabbed a new batch of spy shots with the prototype while undergoing some tests on the Ring.

And by the way it looks and moves, it is definitely going to be a fast bastard, particularly since it will arrive with a three-row configuration.

Just like most of BMW`s “new kids on the block”, the all-new 2019 BMW X7 will stand on the company`s new CLAR platform, the same one underpinning the 3-, 5- and 7-Series, as well as the freshly added X5 model. This indicates new lightweight materials for improved performance.

Speaking of sizes, the new X7 will be extremely big, measuring more than 5 meters long and coming with the right size for both the US and the Chinese markets. Inside, the cabin will boast with the latest technology, including semi-autonomous driving and the ultimate gadgetries, also seen on the new 5-Series.

Rumors with a hardcore variant of the 8-Series are not new, and recent spy photos, presenting a test mule with the M8 on the Ring, might be a clear indication that the model is getting closer to its final unveiling.

The hardcore model has been also previewed in first renderings, and the test mule seen here while running tests on the Ring looks rather similar, coming with plenty of camouflage around the body which hides important parts, like massive and aggressive air inlets up front, or massive alloy wheels.

At the rear end, this prototype seems to lack the expected quad exhaust system, but it might just be part of the camouflaged area. Or, it might be a clear indication that we are just looking here at the future 8-Series with some M Performance goodies.

Just like the new models within BMW`s lineup – 5- or the 7-Series, along with the 8-Series as well – the upcoming BMW M8 is also reported to stand on the CLAR platform, which brings along much more lightweight materials, making it extremely fast, agile and increasing the space inside.

As for the powertrain under the hood, chances are that we might find the same twin-turbo V8 found on the new M5, with more than 600 horsepower, being sent to the rear wheels. The hardcore variant will also come with a high-performance all-wheel drive system.

Besides the all-new M8, BMW will also release other new models, like the new 8-Series, which is considered the successor of the 6-Series. The latter one will also lead the way for the all-new 5-Series GT, also recently seen and previewed.
