The 2021 BMW M3 Touring has been finalized and confirmed by the German auto manufacturer via a recent press release. The auto giant did not release any details regarding the date, price, or features of the car. It is expected that further information will be released later this year.

Fortunately, we can predict the specifications and features of the upcoming car based on the previous model. The BMW M3 is most likely to have a regular model while a Competition package will also make an appearance. Consumers will be able to choose between the standard rear-wheel drive system or the performance-oriented all-wheel-drive variant. 

The German marque is expected to allow consumers to choose from either a six-speed manual gearbox or an eight-speed automatic. It would be interesting to see if BMW gives these options in the M3 Touring model. Since the Touring models are more premium the M3 wagon may only come in an all-wheel-drive option. Petrolheads will be looking at BMW to offer the M3 in a rear-wheel-drive manual option but that looks like a far-fetched idea for now.  

BMW is expected to take at least 2 years to finish development on the vehicle. The press release did not state in detail when the period starts and when it will end so for now we cannot make any speculation on the model release date. In any case, we could expect the M3 Touring to come out as a 2022 or 2023 model. Lots of changes can take place by then in terms of technology and performance.

Usually, we see the camouflaged versions testing on roads whenever a car is near its release. Therefore, we would have to wait and see when that happens to be able to predict the exact date of the vehicle’s release. By then, BMW will keep us entertained with the M3 sedan and the M4 Coupe versions. Both these vehicles eyebrow-raisers in their regard.

There are tons of appreciations to be addressed to the 2017 BMW 5-Series and perhaps words are necessary at this point. And giving its resemblance with the 7-Series in styling, interior and technological enhancements, as well as the plethora of high-end engines under the hood, the G30 BMW 5-Series will definitely be an instant success.

At the exterior, the new 5-Series comes with a bigger platform, the model gaining significant inches in size, bringing it closer to the 7-Series.

In terms of visuals, the model will be offered from the start with the M Sport Package, meaning the M Aerodynamic kit with custom front apron with wider air intakes, side skirt trims, diffuser-style rear apron, exhaust system with two rectangular tailpipes, adding the Shadowline trim, lowered suspension system as well as the 19-inch alloy wheels.

Inside, the model is also looking exclusive with the M parts, visible on the three-spoke leather steering wheel, SensaTec upholstered dashboard, aluminum pedal covers and footrest, custom floor mats, optional Black Dakota Leather with contrast Blue stitching and so on.

In the technology department, the all-new 5-Series is indeed highly-advanced, the model coming with a plethora of gizmos that would make jealous even a 7-Series owner.

The car`s main highlight is the autonomous driving technology already previewed in former discussions, and which can communicate with other BMWs, using different voice systems, a feature that will also underpin the next year`s BMW 7-Series. Of course, don’t expect anything like “I`ll park the car for you”, but it will park your car safely and taking into account the surroundings, via the ParkNow feature.

Other important features also refer to gesture control, Intelligent voice control, touchscreen as well as the iDrive 6.0 touchpad Controller, some of them already being highlighted on the last year`s 7-Series. Let`s not forget the now already commonly used tech goodies like entertainment, navigation, telephone and other functions which can be observed on the high-end 10.25-inch screen and controlled via the aforementioned iDrive Controller or by gestures and voice controls.

As for the safety features, the new 5-Series has got plenty of it. We are looking here at the most advanced gizmos, like the Driver and Parking Assistance Systems, Adaptive Mode with Dynamic Damper control, adding the latest Head-Up Display, Remote 3D View, new Voice Control, Remote Control Parking or Advanced Driver Assistance Systems.

In the engine department, the 2017 G30 BMW 5-Series comes with a wide choice of engines, and that thanks to the car`s new CLAR platform, all built from lightweight materials like carbon fiber or aluminum.

We should mention the all-new 2.0-liter flat-four inline engine with 248 horsepower in the 530i version, adding the 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder with 335 horsepower, in the 540i. The new 5-Series will also spawn a much more potent M5 and M550 diesel, with improved performance and additional styling features. Up until now, there weren’t too many info or photos to highlight the China-based 2017 BMW 1-Series Sedan, which was slotted for an official debut in July.

It was recently that BMW announced the availability of the new 1-Series Sedan built exclusively for the Chinese market, the model being also expected for an official debut at the 2016 Guangzhou Auto Show, starting this November, with sales to start earlier next year.

China-based Autohome has provided the first batch of photos with the all-new Chinese 1-Series, the model coming with similar design features as the US sibling brother.

However, the 1-Series Sedan in China will be different than the Europe-based version. This means that it will be 4,456 mm long, 1,803 mm wide, 1,446 mm tall, while the wheelbase will stand at 2,670 mm, overall making it longer than the E36 3-Series.

The 2017 Chinese BMW 1-Series Sedan will also underpin the company`s UKL architecture, fitted with a front- and all-wheel drive layout, the same architecture also found on the BMW X1, 2-Series Gran Tourer or MINI models.

Under the hood, the architecture will allow the fitting of a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline three-cylinder engine in the 118i, with 136 horsepower, while the 120i would receive a 2.0-liter turbo gasoline flat-four, with 192 horsepower. Finally, the 125i would receive the same 2.0-liter but with a power output of 231 horsepower.

Once announced for the market, the 2017 1-Series Sedan will be built with Brilliance Auto, which is the German carmaker`s joint venture in Shenyang, China. Please find below the China-based 2017 1-Series Sedan.

When dealing with heavy customizations under the hood of the BMW X5M and X6M, there are only two tuners crossing my mind at the moment: Hamann and G-Power, two of the most important from the tuning market competent enough to create the perfect upgrade kits.

And yes, this article involves another BMW X5M receiving a special Hamann power kit underneath its skin. The entire installation was carried out by the technicians from DS Automobile.

The BMW X5M is a big and mean German machine, big enough to intimidate everybody with its extremely aggressive bod style.

This one over here is a mean looking lad, especially with the black exterior and the Anniversary Evo alloy wheels, all finished in metallic black. Add up the flared arches and sports bumpers and you have the coolest one ever seen.

But the real beast is yet to be revealed, as the Hamann power kit brings this BMW X5M to a whole new level. The same 4.4-liter proudly sits underneath, ready to churn out a new 650 horsepower, quite massive from the stock 560 horsepower. We are not sure if the torque was also raised from 750 Nm of torque.

Again, the tuner wouldn’t offer the performance figures, but since in the stock version the SUV sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.2 seconds, we suspect at least 4.0 seconds with the Hamann power kit. The topping might be still stand at an electronically limited 250 km/h.

A rare and exotic BMW M3 all wrapped in Mineral Grey is now displayed at the BMW Abu Dhabi, the model coming with a lot of aftermarket parts, courtesy to Supreme Power tuner.

As we can depict from the impressive photo gallery launched by BMW Abu Dhabi, this outstanding model is packing the carbon fiber M Performance aero kit, consisting of bumper extension, side sills and skirts, rear diffuser, or the M Performance carbon fiber mirror caps and updated kidney grilles.

At the rear, the Mineral Grey M3 is standing out with the boot lid wing, courtesy to AC Schnitzer tuner, wrapped in red stripes which perfectly highlight the entire exterior color.

The mods don’t stop here, the model also getting the Akrapovic Evolution Exhaust System with Akrapovic Downpipes and Titanium exhaust tips, which might indicate some extra goodies under the hood. Unfortunately, there are no fresh details on this matter.

The cabin also received the same M Performance goodies, like the M Performance metal pedal set, M Performance Alcantara steering wheel and so on.

The stock F80 BMW M3 comes with a 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo inline straight-six engine, with 431 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque, mated to a standard six-speed manual transmission. The sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in done in 4.3 seconds.

Lumma Design tuner has returned with its latest released BMW X6 CLR R body kit, the model now looking more menacing and more aggressive than ever.

The BMW X6 model is already looking bulk, wide and extremely rugged at the exterior and some body parts might make it the ultimate German fighting machine. But Lumma Design has its way of not spoiling the overall personality.

The CLR R kit is showing this white BMW X4 with new bumpers at the front and rear, LED lights, front spoiler lip and diffuser, customized tailpipe, fender flares, side skirts as well as a new rear tailgate spoiler. The Lumma badge is also present on the body style.

Inside, the aftermarket specialists from Lumma Design have also fitted the cabin with some carbon fiber upgrades, high-end leather, or Alcantara. Under the hood, the X6 has not received any power boost.

The BMW X6 in the xDrive50i, comes fully loaded with a 4.4-liter V8 turbo engine, outputting 500 horsepower and a good 650 Nm of torque.

Finally, the top of the range BMW X6 M50d is powered by a tri-turbo diesel burner, which juices up 375 horsepower and 740 Nm of torque, hooked to an 8-speed automatic transmission and coming with an all-wheel drive layout.

The BMW X5 is popping up in our news in a new body upgrade carried out by the well-known Wheels Boutique tuning division.

The BMW X5 is one of the most powerful models from BMW, sitting near the X6 and under the X5 M. But even so, it manages to impress us every time we see it being customized by an aftermarket shop.

And this BMW X5 all wrapped in the Alpine White paint has received a new set of brushed titanium HRE S100 wheels, courtesy to HRE Wheels tuning, the installation being carried out by the guys from the Wheels Boutique.

The HRE S100 wheels are sized of 22×10 and 22×12.5 front and rear, all coming with the Copper Lip and Brushed matter centers finish. Add up the Pirelli P Zero Scorpion tires, sized 295/30/22 and 335/25/22 front and rear as well.

Under the hood, this Alpine White BMW X5 has not received any upgrades, the SUV still packing the 4.4-liter TwinPower Turbo V8 engine, developing 445 horsepower, in the xDrive50i. The aftermarket specialists from the LUMMA Design tuning division have carried out an extension program of their latest body kit, being fitted for the first time last year, on the second generation BMW X6 xDrive50i.

This means that the BMW X6 xDrive50i has received a wider kit, which makes it stand-out even more front the crowd, along with the new front splitter, a blacked-out kidney grille, LED fog lights, trunk lid spoiler, roof panel, black diffuser, the sport spring kit and a few more.

The entire body kit is complemented by the huge 22-inch alloy wheels as well as the four exhaust tips measuring 100 mm, with the inner tips sizing 70 mm in diameter.

Inside, this BMW X6 is also set to abound with Alcantara and leather upholsteries, wood and carbon fiber trims, aluminum pedals, interior lights or the velour floor mats.

Apart the wide body kit and its gorgeous components, the LUMMA Design tuner has also carried out some mods under the hood, thanks to the remapped ECU, the X6 now producing 555 horsepower and impressive 792 Nm of torque, for the same 4.4-liter V8 unit.

Remember the old timer but still high-performance 1988 E30 BMW M3, making quite a buzz on the crowded streets more than 25 years ago? I couldn’t forget as I used to roll my eyes down the window to be able to get a look inside, I was too short back then.

Anyway, the 1988 E30 BMW M3 is back in the spotlights, this particular model seen here representing the DTM Replica, which first appeared in the European Car Magazine issue, back in March 2014. The entire tuning program was carried out by the aftermarket specialists from the PSI tuner.

The 1988 E30 BMW M3 looks astonishing, with a lot of body style upgrades to carry out, which gives it a real racing feel and touch. The overall look is complemented by the one-off Hartge wheels. Apart the visual upgrades, this E30 BMW M3 DTM Replica has also received a power boost under the hood.

I am talking here about the fitting of the S50 engine, taken from the E36 BMW M3, now developing an impressive 282 horsepower. The power boost was also possible thanks to the new exhaust system, along with the RD Sport RHD headers and the 24 lb injectors.
